    graphics in game

    I remember original OFP where we smoked the enemy with grenades and I run across the clearing (all in smoke) just to get killed in a second... i asked the other guy (my friend) how the heck did he see me in all the smoke?! And he replied "what smoke? I don't have any smoke turned on..." Well, that was a big dissapointment and a good laugh too Devs: hopefully that won't happen with fancy "sunglare" this time... you seem to mention it in every PR.

    I surely hope options will be fixed... I remember back in the good old days when we set 2 teams... and I smoked the entire area and suddenly in all the fog I got killed... I asked friend how did he see me in all the smoke... and he replied: "what smoke? i have it turned off"...

    Don't need all the eye-candy!

    Since most of us here been with OFP since and even before the release of first game, we would like to hear what matters the most - playability. Please stop posting the screenshots and all the eye candy info and tell us more about realism settings and playability, that's what adult mil-sim players expect from ArmA. Please don't make a mistake and don't give us just an a graphical upgrade, because that might just last a few months instead of a year or even more! We trust that your team can bring us the game that will live out your and our dreams. Create something that all of all will enjoy, give the power to the multiplayer hosts (then the game would be played by arcade loving bunnyhoppers (players of COD, BF2...) and also milsim fans (realism mod users) based on the host settings). You don't need a good story, because making a great "playground" players just might be the storymakers...

    Hmm guys, as a game developer I'm worried that all people see games as "eye-candy", what about the playability? What about the physics, for example: - will the units move according to RL inertia (for example new Day of Defeat:Source looks like players are on ice-skates not to mention bunny hopping...)? - will the fired bullet drop or will it have the old OFP "laser move"? If I would work on this project I would make game as a playground where commanders issue/make various missions and players join and select these missions... no need for campaign if you got a huge multiplayer community support, not to mention fansites and teams/clans...
