We heard that if you hit the water, you loose equipment and weapon. So basically, when you swim out you're a "civilian" aka sitting duck Destroyable buildings: the one in the video is "non-entrable" so i think they'll make buildings destroyable only if they are "boxy objects". I might add again that animation is way too fast and more smoke should appear.

Metal Heart basically said it all. I got the first box of Solder that hadn't been patched... and i've experienced next: - huge load times - loaded the first map and when i saw freakin' ROADSIGN in the middle of jeep parked beside me, I realized that guys that did this game didn't even test before releasing - drove around the dull terrain when I saw AI lost in the woods and hitting every obstacle there was... and they didn't mind me driving around them. Guess they were just too busy. - tried the building destruction and .... then the game crashed. I've uninstalled, threw the game away and never came back OFP: played it since 2001, run a community site, sold over 200 copies over here and when it got a bit outdated we switched to Joint Ops and SWAT4 (both games had a great realism mod made by LoneWulf). We then returned to OFP with FFUR and WGL mods... and now building brand new fansite along with Slovenian www.vojak.si that is currently home to our team (SBP). See any similarities with Soldner paragraph above?

If I don't get it in Austria or South Germany, I'm driving 650km to Prague and snatch it off the shelves there But most probably i'll order it from one of online stores. I'm in contact with 505 for promotion and sales of english version of Arma here in Slovenia.

You either do it right and call it "mil-sim" or you do it to satisfy little 1337 gamers and call it a "game" anyway, I can live without it, maybe even give it up on the deeper t72 wheels if devs can fix some stuff mentioned on these forums and that wouldn't take them more than few hours, we would get more perfect product. Placebo: old bug my a$$, thats probably a hidden feature for 1st of April code... w/ ppl running around showing middle fingers. Btw, we checked the new official T72 shots: my mil-freak expert relative confirms what we were suspecting before: turret of T72 is a bit too wide, utility boxes above tracks are not right and angle of the body in front is too steep + some minor diffs. But otherwise, it looks remarkable ... for non-military-freak guy

This all reminds me about Gothic series where there was a German version released and we had to wait more than 1 year to get English speech/text in the game. Well, frankly, I don't care - I'm buying the first version that will be out.

Guess we'll be sprechen a bit of Deutsch or god help us in Checz first mods will probably be to change text to English We'll be driving to Germany/Chech afterall
