FatNinjaKid: sure, MediaMarkt will have it on Nov 30th. Bad news: price will be 45-49€! Thats more expensive that CZ version. I got CZ special edition (t-shirt,sahrani map) for: 37€. Czechs are cheap

I seriously attacked any members that tried to DL even for testing purposes before the buy. The game is available from CZ and in few days from Germany/Austria. I currently own CZ Special Edition (t-shirt,map) but I'll also buy German one and of course final Q12007 release Please support quality game makers!

Its same (buggy) on Audigy 2 ZS. I've tried disabling the hw accel. and EAX ingame, but it stayed the same (didn't try the restart, though). Otherwise, sounds are kickass and game is very immersive, especially when you're pinned down __ oh btw: i heard "enemy AI spetnaz" saying "he's history" just few seconds after he headshotted my buddy i've been "a seagull" in that time and just flying over spetnaz :]

AFAIK RPG/LAW max.range is around 300meters? Wassup with that in ArmA?

InqWiper: pistols still need to be tested. But the bullet speed should drop not travel the same speed to the target - thats what i mean by "laser". Check RPG/LAW and you'll see what i mean.

Did extensive testing in ArmA for most "popular" OFP bugs and sadly, they are still present: Ballistics: nowhere to be seen, guns & pistols again fire like damn laser beams, RPGs/LAWs go straight in the line to the target... you can check ballistics via badly made tracers. Hitpoints: armor can again be destroyed with low-cal if you are persistent enough. It took 1-2 minutes of single M60 fire to get BMP-2 on fire and to kill the crew that ejected. Collision detection: again bad, f.e.: when you drive Skoda car into M113 on the road, full speed - it just stops and you get damaged engine/controls. No total wreck, you can get out unharmed. Very unrealistic. You can also see the "bridge demolition" video on net to see truck jumping back to the bridge Distant visual confirm: again, they can be easily spotted because they don't fade with terrain. They are usually like dark spots - similiar to color of low-lod trees. AI sees through objects/vegetation: not confirmed, we saw one AI that didn't see approaching player through the bushes, so that is a good sign. Wind: nope, not present. BIS: these are the most annoying things, please fix them in patch (if that is even possible due to your engine limitations). Tested: Czech version 1.0

On one more thing on the choppers: in ArmA there is no persistent height setting with Q-Y keys, when you lower your "nose", you're gonna loose height. So you constantly have to fight for the right altitute with torque and keeping "the energy". For example, tight turns and breaking will bring you down very fast & hard. Since FPS drop sharply when getting a lot of view on screen, some guys with low end PCs have problem, because controls are too fast and choppers plummet down very quickly. So, if you're in transport - make sure you have your cursor on "eject" command btw one quite major bug: when you eject just a second before crash, the anim of parachute opens on the ground and you... err, survive. That sucks.
