I use an I7 2600k and when playing all 4 cores run at 80 % with a GTX 465 card, I can see now that I will need to upgrade my video card.

Sparta uses the #exec ban 24 and it seem to work well but we also transfer those bans to our Uk server. $able Great news...........

It is a Wonderful thing to have an anti-cheat and you are respected for the work. I would like to see a fix for the time-out kick as I get kicked a bit and have a decent connection usally a ping of 23-28 with no desyc using Defcon Servers of Dallas Texas whereas before Battleye I never (that I am aware of) lost connection to our Server. Anyhow Great Job and Happy New Year!!!

I would also not run at Very high mem. The game only uses 2 gig and your system only uses 3 of the 4 you have.

Not so fast!!!!!!!!!! That is not the mission of Domination so to speak. If he can work as a team and take his time advancing and not lone wolfing then it may be ok but Domination is not about Rushing in and lone wolfing it. He needs to find some coop missions that involve an objective of destroying a base or Hq something like that would suit his fancy.

Welcome to BIS/ARMA2 forums. I would have to say without a doubt ArmA2, ArmA2 Has Dedicated Servers and are hosted by Professional Severs. (Massive Community Support) There are many great servers with differnt styles to play and I am sure you will find one that fits your needs. OFPDR has NO Dedis but can coop 4 players at a time. To answer your post by saying get new stuff will not help you. I would run all in low, make sure physx is set to disable, put a max mem on the exe. so it will look like this after left clicking the Arma2 Icon on desktop scroll down to properties and add this to the end of the target IE. c:\program files\arma2.exe -maxmem=1024 I played Arma on a simular setup and it will crash every hour or two but you can play, Of course some of the nice systems crash every so often also. Well All I can say Is JUST FIND A SERVER YOU FIT IN they are out there. As for Dr.Strangelove he Understands as he is an Admin for a fine Server As For Xeno Well What can be said.... He has given Our Server A chance to Be in the top 10 and Has done a hell of a job at supporting his work. Xeno SPARTA thanks you. OP Why not try Xeno's server or even Sparta's and come back to tell us what you think.

If I use VOIP I must turn up the Volume and It becomes unbearable with all the other sounds. If they Had a way to adjust Only the Voip then Maybe it would work but as is no one can hear the Voip with out blowing thier ears out. You just have not played on the right servers, Look at gametracker and join in on one of the top 10. After you play on some servers and they get to know your not a 10 year old Dennis the menace they will invite you into true or semi true tactical ran coop play...... ;)

Good Info I am Glad you did not use the search as it would have been lost and hidden whereas I feel this is VERY important to the current time and General Info Of this Game.

Wheem I play mostly Domination so I can explaine it. 1.You start at the main base. 2. The current objective will be on the map in red. 3. Ask in Text If any certain load out is needed for mission and select that at ammo crate. 4. Most of the time you will enter a game in progress, To get to Objective go to flag pole at base and teleport to MHQ1 if not many servers have choppers going to main and will say so IE "this is Chopper 1 leaving for AO in 30secs...over". 5. STICK WITH OTHERS AND NEVER RUSH INTO A TOWN...work as a squad and move when they move or under directions. The objective is to capture a town and disable the Radio tower to stop them from calling in help. There will be a secondary objective at each town most of the time IE also destroy weapon factory (could be just a FOB looking truck with camo netting). There is only one town up at a time and untill it is taken you can not move to another. There are side missions but start with the main untill you understand mor. NEVER FLY OR DRIVE UNLESS THE SERVER ALLOWS IT! NEVER EVER MOVE THE MHQ. The game will be much better if you play on a server with regular players and is Admined.
