I too like this idea. Would`nt mind a copy of the mission so our team could play it on our dedi box. Always wanted to get back to this Island as I think its one of the best in the series.

TWC (The Wrecking Crew uk) is pretty good and is a UK server. Look out for their Clan/Members nights even better.

Would be nice to have this work during the day time aswell. Somthing like the AC-130 script with the thermal image.

Has anyone managed to work out the problem with only pilots can fly yet? So far I have put the names in as suggested and also updated the entities section but it still won’t work! Any ideas.

Just to clarify BE and RCON GUI working in conjunction with each other are fubar! Is that better!

BE and RCON GUI are fubar at the moment aswell. So things are difficult at the moment for us admins.

Problem with GSP’s is you can’t override the Services Command Line but you do have a command line builder in CP with the options below. So the original command line is set to battleye default which would have to be done in the services menu within CP (which I don’t have access to). Only options that I have are these -mod "Specify a mod" -config "enter server.cfg if default is needed" -world "Changes Default Starting World" -netlog "enable logging" -name "sets profile name" The above use a tick box system and then you fill in the parameters like @xxxx;@yyyy or serverAAAA.cfg etc I have managed to alter the server.cfg by changing its name and then running that in the command line changer but that’s all so far. Hope this makes some sort of sense as I am no expert in this field.

Summary: move Your -profiles= , -config= and -BEpath= outside Your game/server directory and use unique filenames (yet rename of file not possible for beserver.cfg) Very alarmed by this BTW! I have a problem with this solution as I rent a dedicated box (GSP) and do not have access to the C drive only the game directory. If I understand the fix you saying we need to place the above files out of the root and place else ware. Not too clear for a noob!

I have been thinking about posting this for some time. Just a small observation about choppers. Has anyone else noticed that the AH-64`s and the MH-60`s horizontal tail section does not lift any more when reaching speeds of 100+. Must be some sort of oversight. I don’t mind as it is only cosmetic but it did work in ArmA2.

Did a full reinstall on the server then patched to 1.57 and then applied the sausage pie fix. Looks like they put somthing in the so called CPU update that re wrote all the expansion folder addons as it has brought them all up to date. its a pitty they dont admit when they are wrong and then dress it up as a CPU update. ---------- Post added at 05:45 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:41 PM ---------- I know Dwarden but try telling that to my GSP!

Ever since the latest two patches came out I have lost my green icon for my dedicated server. I appreciate that those who are fortunate enough to have their own boxes etc need not look at this post as undoubtedly you will have got it sorted by now. This post is for us poor souls that have a GSP. I ask of the BIS team when is this going to be sorted? I will not name my server but Game Tracker had our server at No42 we are now at No147 and that’s in a matter of days! Its is so frustrating when your server depends on new blood coming into your clan as we totally rely on donations to keep it going. If the donations stop coming in then we have to stop and therefore another server closes and BIS in the long run looses money! Do you not think BIS that it is your interest to keep the clans alive? And downloading the DLC things you keep bringing out or is that not important to you? I know on my GSP it is the same train of thought for those that are running ArmA in whatever form it takes, they too are losing clients on their servrer as well. Its not just me but the many!

My GSP has updated the Expansions\Addons folder now we have no problems and we have our green Icon back thanks to all who helped out on this. [TWC]-Gaza

Found the problem! Looks like the update patch on our server in only updating 14 items in the extensions/addons folder, made the GSP aware of the situation thanx for pointing me in the right direction Tax.

Doing a full reinstal of the game server to eliminate any sort of problems my end then I will recheck the files.

No mine is a hard copy (CD and sprocket). But just been looking further into it this morning and on the server side it does semm pretty messed up I think ill ask for a virgin reinstall of OA. It looks like its a install on the server from another client as there are maps in which are not the normal standard maps and a cba bi key in the folder now I know thats not in the normal install!

I took taxmans advice and the concusion is that both addon folders on the server have some problems. On the server there are a number of pbos that are named in uppercase and on mine they are in lowercase, can this be a cause to the problem? It also looks like some of the pbos are way out of date. Any advice

Think you might be missing the point Taxman. What Blade and I have done is to dissable ALL mods and have reverted back to the 1.57 patch with the same result Yellow! As per bis instructions have also tried the 77007 patch (server.exe for OA etc) still yellow with a bog standard Takistan map with no addons running on server and client!
