Do I need to add a target line to my startup script if i just add the pbo to the addons folder as i'm getting no message when in-game that says its running? Or would i only get a message if it was added to maps? Cheers -

Hi We run a dedicated server on a 100mbit line using speedtest.net we are getting 50mb up and 50mb down It dont matter what I try and set in the arma.cfg file we still seem to get lots of lag on the server I either get it so that we rarely get a red broken chain but we get lag or we get red chain and no lag but when we get red chain ppl just run on the spot But to be honest i,m not 100% sure of what to set the commands to, Can anyone shine a light on what I should tweak for in the cfg file to help with our problems Cheers

Hi we have a server thats connected into londons 100mbit data center that is experiencing some lag mainly when ppl connect the player size is set to 20 max so it should cope easy On speedtest.net the speeds are showing as the following 50'000 kb's Down and 45'000 kb's up what settings should i set the following to? MaxMsgSend=<limit>;  Maximum number of messages that can be sent in one simulation cycle.  Increasing this value can decrease lag on high upload bandwidth servers.  Default: 128 MaxSizeGuaranteed=<limit>;  Maximum size of guaranteed packet in bytes (without headers). Small messages  are packed to larger frames. Guaranteed messages are used for non-repetitive  events like shooting.  Default: 512 MaxSizeNonguaranteed=<limit>;  Maximum size of non-guaranteed packet in bytes (without headers).  Non-guaranteed messages are used  for repetitive updates like soldier or  vehicle position. Increasing this value may improve bandwidth requirement,  but it may increase lag.  Default: 256 MinBandwidth=<bottom_limit>;  Bandwidth the server is guaranteed to have (in bps). This value helps server  to estimate bandwidth available. Increasing it to too optimistic values can  increase lag and CPU load, as too many messages will be sent but discarded.  Default: 131072 MaxBandwidth=<top_limit>;  Bandwidth the server is guaranteed to never have. This value helps the server  to estimate bandwidth available. MinErrorToSend=<limit>;  Minimal error to send updates across network. Using a smaller value can make  units  observed by binoculars or sniper rifle to move smoother.  Default: 0.01 MaxCustomFileSize=<size_in_bits>;  Users with custom face or custom sound larger than this size are kicked when  trying to connect. Thanks
