  2. As many have said .. EXCELLENT work! Only issue I have is sometimes when I have chosen coordinates and click compute, I get that white screen saying compute and goes on for ever and have to close arma through task manager. Has anyone else had that issue and of so how was it resolved? Thaks for the great work.
  3. Thanks everyone for your help. I am looking for something very similar to what Chris said, a very simple report enemy engagment. They just have a text messege saying they made contact with enemy. Nothing more. Right now groups in HC can get wiped out without even reporting once. Will this require a lot of scripting??
  4. A quick clarification as I was trying to respawn group 5 times at 10 seconds apart as you mentioned. For some reason they on spawn one time and that is it. I used: nul = [this,triggerone,"once", 5,3] execVM "murk_spawn.sqf"; Can you please point on what I am missing? Thanks :)

    Isla Duala

    One of the best MAPS out there for Arma2! Certainly sets the standards other maps are judged by. Only comment for future versions is perhaps have different building styles north from south, one capitalist liberal while the other is communist conservative (archeticture wise) Just an idea.

  8. Thanks Splicer for the link. A very cool script but a more than what I need. I just want a simple script that I implment for squads under my command using High Command (HC). Right now, My squads see and engage enemy without sending a word back to commander. So I want squad leaders informing me of enemy presense. I assumed it was simple .. of course the oppsoite might be true :) Any ideas?

    Zeus AI Combat Skills

    We use the Zues AI (and so it seems every server online) and it works fine! It is hard to imagin playing without it as it actually enahnces my AI and make them act more like Military than houswives in combat! :) There is something called contructive critisim, if you have an issue with a mod point the issues without calling names. They work hard for no fee so the least we can do is be appreciative and there is always the option of just pressing DELETE!
  12. That is a shame that no rang finder for vanilla arma 2. Ohh well. I have NooB question but I have to ask .. in your example you input your location in system as x: 3573 y:3643 while on GPS it is 014 and 035. Clarification is appreicated. I also second having sound for shells incoming.

    Hey everyone, This is my latest mission. It is a coop (up to 8 players). You are in charge of Bravo team, a highly trained assasin team. You are to drop behind enemy lines and assasinate an enemy leader then make it back to base in one piece. Getting the enemy leader is a tough task that requires planning and teamwork. But getting back to base in one piece is another issue! If are sucessful in assisanting enemy leader you will be hunted down like a running fox. Enemy AI wil use vehicles and DOGS to track you down. Not only the dogs will track you down but if they catch you they will rip you to pieces!     That is excellent news! I certainly love the cam on Ah-64 (and on all other air units). Overall a must have addon! Thanks for the great work Mandoble.

    I do not use ACE .. but if you can play vanilla missions on ACE then you should be able to play this mission. Only addon needed is GL4. Let me know how it plays in ACE. Cheers.
  19. Great addon. 2 NooB questions .. 1) How do you din direction? Latest version I can not find direction readings? 2) What is the name of the LD so I can add to other units as it is not the default? Thanks for great addon.
  20. Great Script! I have implmented in my latest mission (Camel Joe) where is it door to door fighting. Combined with Zues AI, the fighting in town is pretty tense indeed! Only clarification I have is aside from reinfrocment what other options are there? Looking forward to future updates.
  21. Has anyone had luck in getting this to work in MP?? I have desert wind in mission and works in SP but go MP nothing? even if everyone else has same addon. It is a shame as it is a great addon but needs to be MP friendly. Any solutions are highly appreciated by everyone on here I am sure :)

    I have recieved a few requests for the updated version of Devils Castle. So after long due here is the latest version of Devils Castle. What has changed with v2: - The AI is more dynamic, utilizing GL4 (Group Link 4). So AI will be a bit more unpredictable and tougher in combat. This adds more importance to stealth vs John Wayne approach! - Hunt Groups:Hunting groups with KILLER dogs and working flash lights! If you see lights in the woods know it is not a truck :) - You have the option to recieve ammo drop from HQ in mission. - Reduced addons dependency.     I have deleted older pbo before adding new upgrade. The demo mission runs smoothly. It is when I implment in other missions I have the choppy camera. The thing is I take out the new version and put in older version, missions run smoothly. So I am not sure what it is in the new upgrade that is causing this :confused:

    Regdring the choppy camera, same mission before update was very smooth after update is when the issue started. The mission is very light in terms of AI. So I do not think it is related to hardware :confused: Still a great addon and lloking forward to next one :)
