Beagle, I'm not playing the nice guy, I'm trying to survive ,not very well I admit but trying. I must be doing something wrong though, the most Z kills I've reached is 56 or so. When I look at the scores some guys are up there in the hundreds. I guess they are camping a hot spot and waiting...in groups.

Hey, The.D, the reason I decided to become a Lone Wolf is because I've been killed nearly as much by "survivors as by Zed's. I just don't trust anybody anymore. A fine example playing tonight... I entered a factory area where one guy was having a little trouble with teh zombies, I threw a flare from the roof so he could at least see what was going on around him in the compound, I took out a couple of Z's. He survived and was patching himself up when another player came onto the scene and shot him, that pissed me off, so what did I do:uzi:. Turns out he was a bandit. That is the only time I have killed a survivor. Hi guys, absolutley loving this mod, just one thing I'm not sure about is that when I die, do I have to go back to the server loby to re-connect ? I have tried hitting the re-spawn button after hitting the Esc but nothing happens! I know its in Alpha so I just wanted a little clarification concerning this. Thanks. Over and above Driver Sweeper I sometimes use CrapCleaner to clear the Registry, with the Registry Tool, this will clear anything left over. You can select which files to clean up, in this case ATI video legacy stuff. On a daily basis I use CC to clear up my cookies/temp files. It does keep the HD nice and clean and once you have worked out which cookies to keep there is no problem in letting the program "sweep" at start up. The BIS log in cookie has been saved as are other password/log in cookies for trusted and frequently visited forums. I have been using CC for quite a few years...Recomended.

I had to "allow" BF3 in Avast to get things to work, this mostly concerned matchmaking challenges and as far as I am aware applies only to Avast.

I knew it... I regret buying the Steam version of ToH. Will I be able to bind my retail ArmAII/CO with the Steam version of ToH ? I expect so but I'm keeping my fingers crossed anyways. I never load ToH through Steam, btw.

People, I'm going to upgrade my computer. It will be an i52500k with 8g of ram. The problem that I have is which Intel chipset/MB should I go for. The latest Z68 or the older P8P67. Now, good sense tells me that I should go with the latest Z68 with the intergrated graphics available. So the finished rig should look something like this : Asus (P8Z68 or P8P67) MB i52500k 8 g ram 460 gtx Win7 64x. The question =has anybody any experience with the new Z68 boards and does the intergrated graphic cause problems in anyway. Thanks for any feedback...

Since the last update/B2K dlc.. I'm not getting any crashes as such but the game gets stuck when changing maps. This can be fixed by going into the game exe compatibility window and ticking both the "themes" and the "desktop composition" boxes. A cheap workaround at the very best...that I have stopped using. Alt/tabbing when the Battle report starts at match end and then Alt/tabbing when the next map has started loading is working pretty well for me, even cheaper than the previous fix but less disruptive for my system. I actually took the time to post in the BF3 forums:eek: The performance on the new(?) B2K maps is very poor and to be quite honest I prefer the maps that came with the initial game release. I've asked to join the ArmA Players platoon, just don't check my stat's as they hurt my reputation:D I actually like the game but am wondering if it's at all possible to organise a squad scrim, with all that confusion going on in the background ? Thanks... EDIT: the game was crashing for me when I had everything set to 'High'! After turning down to what amounts to 'medium' settings the crashes have stopped. System = W7 64bit E8400 Ã 3.00 ghtz 3go of ddr2 ram and a Nv gtx460.
