  1. I know this is possible in SUPERPOWERS where you can bring up a menu and then request to join the squad of another player or an AI squad leader. But there does not seem to be a way to do this in Diplomacy.

    keyboard issue in multiplayer

Just happened to me today while playing WHEN DIPLOMACY FAILS online. Had to CTRL ALT DELETE.
  3. But Placebo replied to that thread and all he said was to the poster was to repost the links here. Didnt say anything about them not being from OA.
  4. I've made one myself that can be played in MP/COOP. But there seems to be some bug sometimes in which you stop recieving new missions. A professionally made and tested SECOPS COOP mode would run much better I'm sure. Besides, why must we make everything ourselves? :D I know ARMA is all about creating your own custom missions and all, but the more stuff ready made out of the box the better.
  5. I for one would like to see a proper SECOPS COOP mode. One that I dont have to make myself in the editor. I mean think about it, SECOPS + Random Town Generator = WIN.
  6. Muzzle Flash "stuck" on Apache Gunship cannon. Seen this bug several times before in the campaign.
  7. Anyone else getting this? In the middle of a firefight in coop "Manhatten" the load screen suddenlly came up and stayed there. I could hear all the sounds all around me but all I saw was the damn load screen. I had my friend the host KICK me, but I was still stuck on the load screen. That's when I decided to just end task ARMA2.
  8. Alright, I went ahead and checked my BIOS. On the MAIN tab page it said SYSTEM MEMORY SPEED - 800MHZ. And just to be Absolutely sure I didnt f*k anything up, I went to the EXIT TAB and clicked on DISCARD CHANGES AND EXIT. So I think I'm good now.
  9. Soo can I trust CPU-Z with the info it gives me without having to go to BIOS or what?
  10. Well I'm not planning to overclock anything. I just want to know if my RAM is running they way it should be (800mhz DDR2) without having to mess around in BIOS. Can I rely on what CPU-Z tells me without having to check for the same settings in BIOS? Yes, I am very reluctant to go to my BIOS because I'm afraid I might screw something up. :D
  11. Okay, I checked my RAM Speed on CPU-Z. It shows 400MHZ before DDR2, so that sounds right, and my other timing speeds as 5-5-5-12. Those match the timing speeds described on the product website. Is there any reason I should go to BIOS to confirm these settings? Or am I good to go?

    1.06 beta patches.. when?

I thought 1.05 was the final patch?
  13. Intel D975XBX mobo Intel e6600 Core 2 Duo Windows XP SP3 Now I am able to see the RAM in my control panel showing up as 3.25GB, but I believe this is the way it's supposed to be in WinXP 32-bit. I've played a couple of games and noticed improvements in load times and some performance boost. I previously had 2GB RAM before.
  14. I just got some brand new 800mhz 4GB RAM, but I want to confirm that they are indeed running at the optimum speed. How do I find this out? Also, when I first booted up my computer with the new RAM Sticks (i removed the previous ram sticks completely) I get a message saying something about the memory configuration and the assumed speed at 533mhz or something. The only option I'm given is PRESS ANY KEY TO CONTINUE. Then windows is able to load. I don't get this message any more during boot since then.
  15. Has 1.05 fixed COOP saves yet? Or do we still have to restart a mission each time?
  16. I mean saved COOP games from now, after 1.05.
  17. Sigh, so I guess we're going to have to wait for OPERATION ARROWHEAD to get a proper working COOP campaign?
  18. Sooo has anyone been playing the campaign in COOP since this patch? It would be really nice if this one OFFICIAL feature was fixed.
  19. Well I know that, but what I meant was can you start the whole campaign again fresh, save a point, and then continue from that saved point in COOP?
  20. So this works with the STEAM version too right?
  21. What about COOP? Is it possible to play SAVED COOPs now without bugs?

    Patch 1.05 "Announced". Includes AH-64

Yes well you'll notice even people with Quad Core machines are complaining. As for my specs here it is for the millionth time - E6600 Core 2 Duo Nvidia 9800GTX+ 2GB RAM Win XP SP3 That's above ARMA 2's so-called minimum requirements I believe.

    Patch 1.05 "Announced". Includes AH-64

I upgrade ALL THE TIME. But ARMA 2 alone isnt justifiable to get me to upgrade yet again when I can run games like FAR CRY 2 at the highest settings. Like I said, a lot of people here are complaining about this one game's performance issues, it ain't just me.

I am actually looking forward to OA. Course I'm going to wait and see if the performance actually improves and if this turns out to be the FINAL fixed version of ARMA.
