It's WAAAAY over the top in the videos. I can see thousands of "motion sickness" complaints in my mind right now. Even ArmA 1 had them. Glad to see it's configurable. But bobbing and movment in vehicles should be there, I haven't seen a game that's done realistic movment of view in vehicles moving at a fast speed or on rough terrain properly yet. Would be a nice feature. Give a vehicle more feeling.

Im my opinion, everything should be as realistic as possible. Not to an overly stupid point of cleaning your rifles and sosuch. BUT... That's wha mod's are for. The Stock game should be playable for most people (More realistic than most games, I'm sure, but still). And people like me who want hyper realism can use a realism mod such as ACE. Heck, back on flashpoint with WGL, I ran a mission that lasted for a day or two solid, with us carrying our gear in the packs, hiking and chatting a long long way, using every realistic feature of WGL we could in and out of combat. Everyone set up a camp, slept, and continued the next morning. Most players will want just the "combat simulation" part, if you see what I mean, without it being tedious. I like realism sometimes and fun others. But mostly realism when paying with HC.

Start > ArmA > Uninstall Buy Counter Strike. Just kidding, just kidding. =P But seriously Q and others. Nice mod. Was a huge fan of WGl an I've just got redownloading ACE now to play online with a few folks. Just gotta say thanks again for the time and effort into such a huge mod.

I'm on Windows Vista 32 bit. It does as you describe but when I run ArmA with the pbo running it crashes instantly.

Yup. Well i got it all running (I <3 Winamp anyway) but i just can't seem to make it work. If you got it working Alex, when you run ArmApod.exe and stuff, what happens.

They can lock onto either in real life. 8) I agree some form of handling impairment should be established on a damaged aircraft. 9) Why CAN they kill smaller aircraft? Probably because if they were any lower they'd not even knock out larger ones. i dont use AA alot so I can't confirm what you mean. 10) Yeah i noticed this. Got almost directly hit with an RPG and survived yesterday. Everyone in the server was like "Oh dayumn! Cap' you a'ite?" 11) Its supposed to be dust I assume but it can look odd, yeah. 15) Its possible with alot of anims. 16) You should be able to lock on to the laser des and the bomb will guide there. 18) Its more of a client side thing. Certain would be able to play if shadows were forced on/off. And to answer the question, it isnt possible. 20) i miss the old OFP "crrr-craccck!" @Last post i agree this is an extreamly annoying bug.

Looks pretty usefull. How long should it take to connect? Now mine's just going dot dot dot forever. bascaly i have no idea how to use it, even followign the Readme exactly. Holy cow. I thought mine would be like 10 but turns out it's 33.1 No wonder I only have 60GB left on my C drive. it's all taken up my OFp and ArmA.

There are some mods that add things like swimming, change launcher holding animations and fix alot of mentioned things. But it's a hellovalot of mods and I don't play OFP anymore (Moved onto ArmA) so I'll just recommend mods like WGL and FFUR.

It just activates VoN on the wanted channel, and when you let go it returns to the "set" channel. Unfortunatly theres no option to open your mic on one channel using this (like double tapping capslock with default controls, but for these kind of controls), let alone typing on another while you're talking.

Just thought I'd revive this thread if thats OK, as alot of good music is being released about now and people have forgotten totaly about this thread. if you go for it someone's already made a good police crown vic. With a new lightbar (the type NYPD uses) and a new paint job (I was going to ask him if I could make some other paint jobs for his cars) they's fit nice. Go for it. But if I were you I'd go for a smaller area...

Update: We've had an influx of members recently, and are mainly sticking to Sahrani Life Ultimate. We run security contracts in SL and so anyone wishing to be part of, or hire, our group within SLU may visit our forums or contact a member in-game. We still play the odd game outside of SLU, but mostly joint ops with other units. Other units wishing a join op, contact us too. As mentioned we have been running for 5 years now and are always here for those who need a stable, long term gaming group. We may not be the most high tech, largest, or most elite with lots of money for servers, sites, etc. but we'll always be here looking for loyal honest members. Kirby out. I agree, client side only. With low poerformance its IMPOSSIBLE to aim or move easily, so if a server had it on, I'd not be able to play on it. Maybe just have it on, but toned down alot, insted of off totaly?

I get the either full or none thing too. Hopefully its fixed with the next patch, Had to unplug my joystick to fly helicopters too (They go either UPUPUP or DOWNDOWNCRASH when its in)

Sprocket is the download one right? I don't trust purchased downloads, I'd advise sticking to a physical copy.

I have a solution to it all... Buy them both! Thats what I'm going to do. ArmA II first, then OFP2 when I have more spare money.

What would be quite good is a league that does decent PvP objective based/realistic vs. mission that didn't so all this CTF crap you see all over the place on PvP places. My clan would probably actualy use them then. But yeah, I havent seen many clan PvP leagues around of late... Anyone know of any?
