    Sorry but so fast released, I've not enough input :butbut: Are they gonna be regular Marines and Force Recon? And they're very nice judging from the pics (maybe I can test them ingame tomorrow if my OA arrives at last...) Considering the colors: don't get too deep into it, I guess nobody can make perfect colors for a new camo for everyone (see poor Binkowski's "way of the cross" with his US Army guys and it's ACU camo here...), I'd say BI woodland MARPAT is fine enough, but you'll get enough eagle-eyed nitpickers here (no offense, sorry, but in my eye it's nitpicking :))

    Thank You BIS, at least there's something to play around with until the Hun publisher delivers the game here in August :( :) +1 for the question if the demo can be used together with ArmA 2?

  5. Little bit sad that CDF decided to get rid of their T-55s. :( So far there are T-80, T-55, T-62, BTR-70, 2K11, 2S3 and a GraZ heavy truck getting assembled in the workshops. Is there any plan for BMP-1s and a more-up-to-date T-90 and BMP-3 model than the vanilla one in ArmA 2?

  7. That is something I'm curious if possible for SP. Right now arm patches can be changed in MP, but I'd like to know if they can be added/changed for SP without having to add a new reskinned "model", but only to add a script command for it in the init line in the editor; much like Mateck's M1/M1A1 addon for Arma 1 and 2, with the pre-definable markings you had.

    Where/how/when to buy ARMA2:OA?

    I don't really know if it's publisher's or developer's responsibility, but I've read on some gameshop's website that the first Operation Arrowhead DVDs got in Hungary were factory-faulty and couldn't be installed. I'd like to inquire about the approximate arrival of the patched DVDs into Hungary, since it's almost 3 weeks that the game was released and there are not even little news about the fixed DVDs. Sorry for sounding impatient, but I have some wrong days behind me and I felt like that we are getting crapped on our heads. I know it's not the case, but I'd like at least to hear some half-official rumor at least. Once again sorry for my bad mood.

Well ripping directly from COD4 would be the least possible, I don't think IW gave out the models for the game for editing :confused: The case is more likely he coincidentally made the same load bearing vest that CoD4 used before, it's not necessarily a rip off because it's the same. ;) Or maybe I'm playing here with a full CoD4 ripoff? let's see...there are Marines, check...there are M4s check...there are even Abrams tanks and Cobra gunships check...and in the stories of the campaigns you fight Russian nationals and fictional arabic armies...OMG, WHAT DID THEY DO THEY RIPPED COD4!!!!! Now seriously...don't take it seriously :)

  13. Well I have DVD version of the game and only ArmA 2 yet, no OA, maybe if others with the freezing problem have DVD too, it might be the source. Other than that I use CAA1, CBA, ACE, GL4 and SLX toghether, and I tried several combinations of them, even without all of them, to no succes.

  15. If I get a copy of OA, I'll make a replacement config for them to use M4s, but that will work only together with ArmA 2 .
  16. Hey Massi! Long time no hear about your Ranger and SF guys. Now that new ACE 2 inventory (SCARs, M3 MAAWS) do you in any plan to update your ACE 2 version config? Also with OA out, do you intend to make reskins for its models?
  17. But hopefully not the way they cool in MW2 or Dragon Rising, see being dead and body temp falls to zero in like 1.5 seconds?
  18. Please forgive my stupidity, but I can recall an "M1A1 HA" class (without TUSK kit) with US Army markings and crew in the ACE US Army faction. Or did I just imagine that one? Also, CSAMM doesn't have any ammo?
  19. Firing with an AA missile at a locked target results in CTD, however when firing them "blank" (without locked target) the game doesn't crash (tested AIM-9 and FIM-92). Edit: R-73, Tunguska AA rockets has the same issue. Strela and Igla rockets don't have this problem.

    Nice update, as aircraft fan I especially like the new Ecureil :) One little bug (maybe just because of my settings) but the glasses are not visible on the chopper.

Well you're correct, I'm not an addonmaker, but as far as I know, with ArmA 2 one can do reskins by adding only new textures and a config file, without the original model to be altered, at least that's what I've read in the readme for Vilas's East tanks that about this "hidden selection". As far as I know, vehicles in this addon also have just new textures and a config, without the original model altered; http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=80409
  24. If I know well one can use "hiddenselection" with textures, so the model doesn't have to be altered. I don't know if just making new texture and a config for it without touching the model itself is requires permission, but of course if I'd could make one I'd ask for it - or at last give the proper credits. I'm already trying to uncover who inherited the model's rights.
  25. Hey Hallokitty! Just downloaded the chopper, it's incredibly deatiled and beautiful. I'd like to ask if is there anybody who continues Rocket's work, or did he gave permission for other addonmakers to continue his work? Or did he intend to "finish" them and leave them as they are?
