Right on time, I was playing Medieval 2 with SS6.2 when I saw this. Still downloading... and I've seen that The Netherlands is in this game, thats just great. Â Will give an update once I've played it. Â [uPDATE] Camera-controls are fine to me, UI could use a little tweaking though but nothing serious just minor things like small fonts on high resolution. But basicly its as nice as the other Total War games only the sea battles are a nice addition. Damn just not enough free time to play all these games! Â

Linda is king of the hill for foliage in games !

Yes the look takes some time to get used too but not really a problem since you can change it too your likings. On this site there are many usefull tips that might be handy.

Excellent, to be honest I haven't seen other software that can make such realistic trees for games as Linda. Awesome piece of programming (for one person?) Â BTW, is Linda also capable of adding 3d fruits like apples or coconuts to branches? Â

This rule has been around for awhile and like Gnat said there are still enough people with slow connections and/or download limits. Best option if you want to post a high-quality image is to link it or even make a clickable thumbnail which is automatically generated by most picture hosting sites. Closing.. Â

Hmm the landscape only holds a few trees which seems to be very randomly placed and the grass looks good in the distance but up close its poorly done, you can clearly see the seams everywhere. Anyway to be honest ArmA2 looks far better than OFP2 currently. But graphics is one thing what about gameplay?

Indeed, like the old carnivores games . But looks very nice not like the annual hunting games that looks the same over and over again (Hunting Unlimited 2 through 2008).

Yes, i thought it was a very nice game with some sense of freedom and i think it is available on PSN now. Also a fun old game for LAN with friends is Die By The Sword + Limb from Limb expansion, good old deathmatch style with swords and clubs where you can chop off limbs and still can keep on fighting. My and my brother hadn't laughed so hard in a while. Â It is nice to read through all the post, brings back some good memories. Back in the days we also like many had a 8bit NES and this youtube channel review some of those games in a non-standard way which is quite funny to watch, especially the silver surfer. Â

Damn nice shaders indeed. I will definitely buy arma2 it already looks wayyyy beter than arma. Foliage and environment looks superb also.

So I am busy on my final tree pack (just takes too much time these day>=D) for ArmA 1 (and ArmA 2 but we will see). It will contain common tree types that can be found on Africa and few for Tropical areas. Hi, Just  wanted to say that (obviously) im not working on this addon anymore due to lack of time. However the Bushwar mod will be using the trees for their Island. I will release my unfinished tree pack soon so people who are interested in creating new maps for ArmA can use and modify the trees themselves just need to do some cleanup first. Â

I bought the Fallout 3 collector edition for 54 euro which is nearly same price for the game on steam for normal game and I find having a dvd/manual/extra's has more value than a digital only game but thats only my opinion.

Sad, never liked digital downloads anyway and with this dirty stuff even more. I prefer to have a hardcopy of my game with manual, dvd and case. Now its even cheaper to buy it in stores .

In this game you need to get to a saferoom and not rescue hostages or kill terrorist. Doesn't look low end to me, and doesn't need a strong pc to play also. Looks same as most source engine games only it uses OB engine so there are some nice new effects and feats. Scary it is not (Condemned was quite nice, Afraid of Monsters too for PC) since you know what is coming to you, but It can get good with you are overrun with zombies and really need to rely on your teammates. Or when they come to you sprinting. AI was pretty good to me, didn't get stuck, followed you, picked up healthkits, heals player, helps player. Zombies has good pathfinding and that is the only thing It needs to have . Damn too many games to play with so little time.

This is a very nice game. I really liked the good pathfinding of teammates and zombies they even jump out of windows to ambush you. So far I only played the singleplayer part of game which was a bit easy for me but I hope multiplayer will bring some extra challenge. Perhaps i;m going to buy this but there some other games I need to buy first (dead space, fallout3) Â
