Hi all! We have started a Project about "Österreichisches Bundesheer" (Austrian Army). We want to make our work like BW-Mod (Packages with Cars, Armour,Planes etc.). Vehicles which are not made for OFP @ the moment (like some Trucks or Cars) will be release whithout Austrian Markings too to use in missions without austrians. We need some people who can help us by making our Project. -Modellmaker(who can make Weapons & (or) Soldiers) -Modellmaker(Vehicles,Aircraft) -Animationmaker Maybe we will make a Island & Campaign too. We have 3 Members now. Atropin (Modelling,Texturing,WRP), Ceekay (Modelling,Texturing) and GrenSo (cfg,Scripting) Our Languages: -German -English (my english is very bad i think) -Russian (only me) Here a Screen from my first Project (Pinzgauer Pack) Post here if u want to help us or if u have wishes or ideas. Hi all! I am experimenting with O2 and trying to get animations (trigger,bolt) to work ingame. Magazine and trigger animations work fine. But bolt dont work. I put 2 points in memory LOD and named them "bolt_axis_begin" and "bolt_axis_end". I have a model part named "bolt" in 1.0 and View Pilot LOD. :confused: What i am doing wrong? Here is my model.cfg

Thank you for answering, but changing model.cfg that way brought no effort. Maybe error is in Memory LOD... EDIT Finally i got it, after some changes all things work like i wanted -
unwrap seems not to work in UV Editor i really don`t know why... i pressed it and nothing happens... it works only in o2 but i dont know how to get unwrapped things back....

Select some Parts which you want to texture and let them selected... Start UV Editor go to Edit-->Selection to UV or Press TAB... Now you can drag your Parts...

Sorry, my English is so bad You should take config.cpp from BI Sample Island than u must REPLACE all "SampleMap" entries with "NameOfYourIsland" entries. this both: description = "Sample Rahmadi Map"; worldName=\ca\SampleMap\SampleMap.wrp; with description = "Name of Your Island"; worldName=\NameOfYourPBO\NameOfYourWRP.wrp; (or wrp directory which you use) and this one class SampleMapIntro1 { directory = "ca\SampleMap\data\scenes\intro.SampleMap"; }; with class NameOfYourIslandIntro1 { directory = "WHATEVER"; }; Try this out... Important is that you really Change all SampleMap entries with your Islands Names. I use the same Name for PBO,WRP & Island but u can use different names too. You mean HPP? It`s not the config... Here u can enter some Names which will be Displayed at the Map in Game. thats all.

i know! it`s because you use vista No, joking. You must convert your png textures to paa format with TexView2 or Photoshop(Plugin) or using Pac2pal.exe from Visitor 2 and change rvmat & layer.cfg texture format entry. In later Version this will be made automatically by Visitor. I know it sucks I recommend to read "Tutorial for Visitor 3?" Thread.

let the runway entry with coordinates in sample config.cpp or when u use another config than copy ils part from sample. you can change them later when you make your own airport. it must be an airport entry (ils) inside the config in Arma i think if you delete this entry you got this error (you can ignore it) if you delete the coordinates inside the entry you will get other error (ignorable too)

u can`t open BIS p3ds from the game because they are binarized... try to download and open sample models. HERE

Seems to be only my Problem... Can`t download from BIS Sites , other downloads are working fine...

can`t download samplemap... download hangs up... any other mirrors?

i`m not amused.... why this step with mask & sat maps... i dont like it... my northpole map have to find out how is works with the textures....

Don`t tried it so far... I think select the edge colour with "magic Wand" in Photoshop than invert the selection and pull the image in a new one with the measurings of the selection, than change picture size... PS: oh SRY for Doublepost EDIT: Do i have to change all the pngs to paa MANUALLY now? EDIT II: So i exported my world as wrp now, which folder i have to pack as pbo now? Someone fave a example cfg? Structure: P - ca/Island --> Island.wrp,Layers,cfg ca/Island/layers --> sat,mask,maplegend ca/Island/data --> Textures + rvmat Layers --> 10000000000 of f*****g pngs & rvmats so what with them??? should i pull them into island/layer folder? EDFIT III: cfg ready packing pbo...

What do u mean? Island ------ Saved as txt File with Wilbur and rename to Island.xyz, than taked "import terrain from XYZ" in Vis 2 Sat & Mask ----------- Painted with Photoshop (10240x10240) saved as png, made Layer.cfg & copied maplegend.png from Berghoffs example. than under "Tools" -->"Import Satellite & Mask" and follow the instructions...

i made a testisland with terragen & wilbur, imported it in vis3 1024x1024 square, 10m =10240x10240 pixels sat map & mask than i did the texes, sat & mask like berghof explained only 1 texture to begin, mask = 1 colour, sat map imported from vis3 view and converted it to png seems to work, importing now... EDIT: f**k!! foget to cut out blue edges

1)What about the airport runways? Are they p3d Models like roads or textures like in OFP? I mean South Sahrani Airport runways can`t find them 2)someone knows where to find a tutorial for Photoshop to paint satellite images
