You could put a refuel truck in the middle of a trigegr say 10x10 make it lockable then when Blufor enter the trigger it runs a script which refuels the items in the trigger, then that way it will look like the refuel truck is actually refueling the item, you can make the trigger bigger to suit. Oh and make it repeat

Warpy, come join us on the OGN servers, We run a Coop only server plus a CTF/CH only server, We also have special nights where we play other types of games on our Test server. We also play CRCTI/KPCTI and RTS on our CTI server.

I wouldnt recommend using the maxmem switch on a server.

Great to see u have the bug again Certa!!, your OFP Tool was used by the OGN community here is Aus and we miss not having the same tool for ArmA. We will certainly love to help you any way we can.

If your Mobo has 2 NIC'S try the other one, apparently certain brand NICS can cause this Problem with ArmA

@ Suma, I and many other appreciate you dropping into chat to us and letting us know of these fixes cheers One question I have in regards to the full game server.exe. Is there anything you can suggest to assist us in optimizing our servers? I have struggled for many years to achieve decent FPS when big matches are playing, especially CTI'S I have done all the optimizations that you recommend on the WIKI. I know this is a big question and I'm not expecting miracles, we do have a very powerful server but I can see problems once the English version is released and we start to see large numbers of players joining especially when CTI'S are released.

We have in our OFP server 2 dual core 275 series CPU'S running 64bit server 2003 with 2x 80 gig Hdds running raid 0 with 4gig RAM I have 2 demos running on CPU0 1 per each core and on the other CPU I have full game spread across both cores on CPU1. I have set this up with Deamon tools. I have stopped all uneccesary services except bare esentials and the TS server is bound to CPU0 core 2. From what I have found over the years with OFP and watching task manager, it gets back to a couple of things. 1st- how well the mission is made i.e cleanup scripts This makes a huge difference as a poorly made mission will stress the server even with 8-10 players 2nd Amount of Players on server. More players that Join the lower the FPS will drop, its all about how many players are on the server. Thats it no amount of tweaking will give u the magical fix that we all seek. I've been playing with this topic for years with OFP and it seems the AA exe shows Exactly the same symtoms as the OFP dedicated exe. I have reconfigured, rebuilt, tweaked, jumped up and down, prayed to the god of FPS. My Thoughts? I have none...LOL I have given up looking for the magical tweak as it dont exsist, we must simply do the best with what we can afford, When OFP was on the server I also weeded out the poorly made missions in an attempt at removing that problem area.

Doh yep I get you now, This is the concern I have when the English versions released. We will get hit hard with players and this game better be able to support the hoards that will jump on and play or we will lose a truck load of them which will be a shame.

No, have never advertised anywhere that we offer 100+ player matches..lol My thoughts are mearly the advertising hype made it seem that we could run 100+ plyr huge battles easily, I think also when the English version is released we may see that many ppl on a server, I think our Australian server may well have to cope with the influx of players.

Lange good post I am with you, I fail to see why MT wasn't high on the list when Arma was developed. I along with many other server admin's have discussed ways of achiving decent FPS for years. I chuckle when I read about Arma server threads and ppl trying all different ways to increase performance. i.e setting affinity. I'm afraid none of this will achive any significant improvment. I can see us travelling down the same road as we did with OFP. MT is the only real way of the community achiving what we have wanted for so many years. Large scale battles involving 100+ players without the constant worry of "damm the servers down to 8FPS its gunna crash"...LOL

I dont see anyway of running 100+ players on a map and keeping decent FPS without major re-working of the Dedicated server.exe. The server must be multithreaded, or we will be going down the same path as I did in OFP. Trying to get a server to support that many clients will not be sustainable for CTI matches, which is the gameplay type that the majority of the community want.

Running OFP on 2x 275 series Dual cores using windows 64 Bit 2003 and setting the affinity on the server.exe to use all 4 cores, and they do!!! Runing CRCTI V1.03b maxing all 36 groups out with full 12 AI on 1500 VD sees the cumlative CPU usage at 26%
