It seems to be fixed with the latest betapatch... try it... i have the problem, too... with the standard patch 1.04... but now...

He Robert... its me again... :) It would be nice to see sometime a modell for the m249 when using stanag magazines. Could it be done like the different warheads which are used by the RPG launcher?! It also would be great to see that you have just a few rounds left on the 200rounds mag... Regards Culti -

Ok... the poblem was, that i added the -mod=beta to my standard-ArmA2 icon... which i could do with the latest betapatches.. so now i have to add my modlines to the ArmA2 Beta Launch icon... so thx for help.. testing now... ;) -

Good evening... With the newest betapatch i got a graphic-bug... In the menu i got just a black screen but i can choose the Options, multiplayer, editor etc... Ingame it looks like on this screenshot With the old betapatch i have not this bug... watch this screen I have an ATI HD4870 and didn´t noticed graphicbugs in the past... Regards Culti -

Hello again... little bugreport: the M249 has no tracers, but when you use NV there are tracers... i also notice, that the cartridges are released at the wrong weaponposition... Regards Culti -

i also noticed an other kind of blur ingame.... don´t know how to enamble it via skript. I had a bug today, where middle of screen was sharp and around the center it was blurred... But in ArmA3 a feature like this would be great... *dreaming* Regards Culti -
Why the ai don´t do what you are caommanding them... if you know how to use it, you can give them a lot of commands... try the complexcommand! Just first press backspace and then press F2,F3 etc for the soldier you want.... you will see there are a lot of option/commands.... watch my x-fire video...and see "how to" ! Regards Culti

Hi there... there is an Editing forum for questions like this... You can use a free camera. Just place a unit on the map in the editor and add the following to the init-line: this exec "camera.sqs" Now you can move the camera with wasd you can lock in objects or units with strg and disable the cross you see in middle of screen with "L"... Ther are a lot of more functions, take a look at MR. Murrays Editing Guide for ArmA1... and the Wiki by BIS. A good map with snowy moutains is Namalsk and if you want to have an Aircraftcarrier take the one from Utes-sea! Regards Culti

@CombatComm In BIS-Buildings are special path and positions. If you are commander you can give your AI the command to walk on for example 2. floor position 6 on northside... you can do it just by holding your mouse on a special place on the building... In buildings, made by the com. these path/positions are missing... if you tell your AI to move to this house, they will just stand in front of it.... If you don´t understand what i am talking about, just watch this video Regards Culti

Hey Sumrak... one question; Is it possible to add AI positions/path for your buildings in the next version.... there are so much buildings with 2 or 3 floors but you can´t get the AI to use it without it... Regards Culti

Nice comparison Wolle. I made again a little Clip showing how you can use the AI in ArmA2. Because i don´t have OFP DR it would be great if somebody of you could make an comparison-video in Dragon Rising... There are no good videos outside which show how to command your own teammates and how they interact with the enviroment and urban areas.... The Commanding-System is one of the important things in games like these. Sry .... i made the vid. on Widescreen, but after the use of Win. Moviemaker its not widescreen anymore... Regards Culti

After reading, that OFP DR AI can use buildings and the AI in ArmA2 not... i made 2 little clips to show the truth. For an Ai which is not scripted it looks very imressive to me how they do. Its not perfect, but they cover each other and they know how to get in a building... and i think with a bit of effort BiS could do it on a much better way with the micro AI. After reading so much about DR (the first Rendervideos were nice and Codemasters said "Our game will look and feel like in this rendered videos) i thought it will be a good game... but now :rolleyes: ... mhhh But know the most OFP/ArmA-Veterans know how hard it is to make a game like this... and i am waiting for OA and ArmA3 :D . Someone wrote it as a comment in one of my xfire ArmA2-videos... now i can just laugh about it.. hehe ...16 year old naively COD-boy who was in dreams after the PR-Attack by Codemasters...Regards Culti
