    Moving Popup Target E's

I did find the armory1.intro in the missions.pbo. In the armory1.intro\data\scripts\tryout\prichals\ folder it has a list of the firing range script, just a matter of picking out what I need. Anybody able to help with this?
  2. Where can I find the config for the ACE ammo boxes in the @ACE folder? I ask because, my squad is trying to do load outs by position. In the ACE ammo boxes there are the blank equipment slots that say ---------Sniper Rifles---------- and such. Well we want to add say _Point_Man_ and have a whole load out set when you click on it so all that person has to do is click on it and he is kitted up with the predetermined equipment.

    co30 Domination! One Team

well i found the FLAG_BASE addaction ["(Choose Parachute location)","AAHALO\x_paraj.sqf"]; line in the x_setupplayer file. However I put the AAHALO\x_paraj.sqf in my own map and add a flag named FLAG_BASE. I have to action to do it, just not able to call it where I am placed in a helicopter once it is called...

    co30 Domination! One Team

I've been looking all around these forums and can't find any info on it, and I know Domination uses a parchute drop script from the flagpoles. I would love to use this in a training mission but where can I find this script?
  6. First, a UH-60 is definately NOT a low flying, low performance aircraft. Second, it's not as susceptible to small arms fire as you make it sound. I have over 680 combat flight hours crewing a blackhawk with A Co. 4/101st AVN REGT. We took small arms fire all the time and while the airframe did take some damage, it was never anything significant. Did you read the stuff on the previous page? As stated prior, this is not an ACE issue and should be discussed elsewhere. You took what I said way out of context, good job.
  7. Hey just for a fyi, if anybody doesn't know something about a realistic feature on a vehicle ( such as the above 5.56 on aircraft, which doesn't exist ) I probably am one of the top people to ask. I don't know if A.C.E mod would be open to me, but hey, here is my offer. I am probably in the wrong place for this. Low flying, low performance aircraft, such as a UH-60 or OH-58, would definitely be susceptible to taking considerable damage to crew from small arms fire. Fast movers such as, say, a F-16 would never go below the deck unless for a high risk gun run. Real world, F-16s are high in the sky dropping ordnance where even a battery of ZPU-1s would have a hard time engaging( that's why there are ZPU-4s ). They do this because of the AA missile threat mainly, flying at > 1000 ft = bad. I understand this is sort of a ArmA engine problem though. Oh and ZPU-1s, let alone ZPU-4s, are a beast to fire and aim with, it's not like ingame where there is no dust and you can see where your rounds are going. That also goes for just about any large caliber weapon.
  8. ~ about the turret rotation speed, from RL experience with a M1A2 SEP the turret does not rotate fast enough in ACE.

    Group Link 3

Just a quick question regarding GL3 and ACE. I have been using ACE quite a bit, and just downloaded GL3. Everything seems fine, except there are no tracers at all. I have turned the tracers on in the options menu but it did not do anything. I looked in the configs in the @GL3 folder but couldn't find anything. Found it...page 10, for anybody who wants to know. @GL3 needs to be before @ace in the shortcut parameter line
  10. ok i figured this one out, I guess the parachute is a weapon this addweapon "ACE_parachutepack" this will add a parachute to any unit via editor
  11. Does anybody have any idea how to add a parachute to a unit via the editor? If I jump out of an airplane with any of the ACE units, I exit the aircraft with no parachute and splatter on the ground below.
