An easy fix for the ramp mounted gun is to simply don't make the ramp movable. Make it fixed as I myself don't see the need to have a movable ramp with a weapon mounted on it. If the weapon is mounted on it, then the ramp would be open for the men inside to use it.

If I wanted to change the player image around a bit, is there an easy way to adjust the buttons? Like a program that will help align the buttons with the image and the volume slider? Thanks. -
Simply unPbo them and then I believe put them into your missions folder to view them in the editor.

Just a thought, is there a way to open the rear doors completely, but have it where you can either close them fully or only close the bottom half and leave the upper half open.

Direction of Gunner in Vehicle

Thats no problem about the flaps, I did notice on the wings next to the engines that they do move automatically with the engines. Although I was talking about the tail to help steer and what not, but if it is there or not it is still a great piece of work.

If you would have read the read me, it clearly says in there that it is based off of a helicopter as that is the only way of making it work. It is near the top that says read first.

Is it possible to have Misic or Audio files located on the same dedicated server as ArmA, and play them in game. Play them trough the action menu or something. So that they don't have to be in the mission file and make it so huge.

Found this: Mulitplayer Custom Sounds Tutorial Is there a work around for the 50kb file size limit or is there a way to compress a song or piece of audio as small as possible. -
Simple question, how can I add an action to a weapon? Update Okay, forget that last question. How can I check if a squad has a particular weapon. I know of the group command and the hasweapon command. How can I combine them to be a condition for a trigger? Also, how can I make a trigger only available during night time.

Not sure. The great thing that I like about ArmA is how open the controls are. You can bind one key to so many different things, and to just about any combinations on the keyboard.

The V brings up your sights for either hand weapons, vehicle weapons, and such without having to hold anything down, when you want to go out of that view, just hit it again. Hope it helps.

AI Controlled Searchlights

How can I get an AI Searchlight to just move his light in a circle that is shinning just above ground level? To simulate a airport tower light? Similar to a light house, but I don't want to use a light house. I plan to put the searchlight atop one of the tall radio towers in game and set it next the runway. Sorry for the double post, didn't know if anyone would see that I posted something new here or not if I didn't. Thanks. -
How can I get an AI controlled searchlight to move the light in random directions during the night? Also, how can I have the searchlights be empty during the day and then once it gets dark enough, than AI is created to man them. What do I have to do to detect when an appropriate time to create the AI and then delete them depending on the time of day/night and leave the searchlights in place the whole time.

It would help if you got into a server and if you see several clan members of that server online, I suggest joining their team and their Teamspeak/Ventrilo. I found if you work with the majority of clan members in a TS/Vent you all can cordinate an attack/defence and the game will become much much more immersive.

Jes, the Suite keep the AI to detect you. The value is set to Camouflage=1, its the lowest. But I do not know the Range of detecting. Thats nice. I'll test it out and see how close I can get to the enemy AI. -

Just looking over this and it looks great! One question though, how close can you get to the enemy when using a Ghillie suit? Does the suit keep the AI from detecting you, if so to what range does the AI start to detect you? Thanks, I will certainty be trying this out.
