Hello all, Friend, moderators, you can close this topic, I have my solution, it's a quit simple ^^. In fact, WRPTools like ofp can't read any files textures that have more than 8 characters in their names. Hello all, My problem seems to be a quite simple, but I haven’t found the solution, like since some years, I work my texture on Photoshop 7, then I save my PSD and export it in TGA (32/pixel) and I open it on TextView. No problem for the moment, but it’s after… I open WRPTools, and this is my surprise: So it's not the first time, I make a try with it, but this once, the problem is real My PAA file is fully read by TextView, not by WRPTools and OFP Engine. So if someone have the solution, I will be happy, during this time, I continu make some try with differents parameters. In anyway, thanks, for reading this topic, and also for the answer if you have it Have a good day. We need your comments and suggestions about this anouncement. Thanks by advance. It's simple, for the moment the modification concern only the images, in fact, we have modified the background and some other little thing, but no major modification at the moment. We will attempt to modify the most part of the GUI as it’s written. - First screen - Introduction - Campaign menu - Mission menu - Option menu - Editor menu (island selection) - Player menu - Mission editor - InGame interface We will re work all this parts. But for the moment, the work in progress is only about the First screen. As you can see upper, the different part will be worked in the order. In a first time I need your advice about the screen of start. In fact, there are 3 versions that can be selected as a final. But which version will be chosen? It will be your choice. Version 0.5 with a M1A2 Full Size Version 0.7 with a BTR80 Full Size Version 0.8 with a T72u Full Size For the rest of the work, no problem with the introduction it’s simple. But for the rest, I have a little problem. I have the p3d of all menus but I don’t know how to open and edit them. I am also searching for the location of Paa & Pac files of the mission editor GUI. If someone can help me, it will be perfect In a second time, the GUI will be released as a unique add-on that will be downloadable separately. But why it will be downloadable separately? It’s simple too, we use a new technique about the menu, that not allow us to make a CVS for the translation, that’s the reason why the GUI will be launch in a sand alone add-on. It will be available in English, French, Spanish, Russian, Czech, German, Greek, Swedish, and Finnish. If someone wants it in an other language, just ask us, and we will do our best to make it!

Today, it will be probably the last short news, after we will make big news per week to simplify the life of news site. In this news, you will found 10 new pictures of SwR with a little description for each ones… Part 1 : Mercenaries Part 2 : GUI Mercenaries : We start with the mercenaries update: As you know serial killer and Helping hand are working one the mercenaries pack that is already available on our downloads page. As you can see, the Green Beret will be at the meeting, with a new face that was done since some days. On the second screen, we have made an assault vest with woodland camouflage which contains some magazines of M4 or any other weapons you will add to this unit. In order to continue with the clothing, you can noticed that in reality, there is a lot of special units who have knee pads, so to be more realistic and to correspond with the reality, we have made ones with the Woodland camouflage for the moment. For the next picture, you see a classic soldier who will be reinforced by some several versions like machine gunners, grenadier, sniper etc… Yuri has been totally reworked for his night version, new face, new clothes, and so many other little details. To finish with our upcoming mercenaries pack, we let you discover a picture of some new faces for each mercenary. Hello, As someone know, SwR is currently working on severals objects packs in cooperation with Python Art Studio and HWmod. For the moment, we have made around 30 differents objects in hight res textures. The textures are provide by two members, Togusa (Simba-Tax) and me (tom_48_97). We provide only the textures, for the rest we need 2 moddelers and 2 textures to work only on the object between now to december. We have planned to make around 150-200 objects more some variants. For the moment we are only 3 to work on the objects. I let you some example of our stuff about object and island making. Some other pics will be released tomorow with the 5th birthday of SwR If you have some ideas about our WIP or if you want to help us, you can post must post your message here or on our forum with some examples of your stuff.
