  1. Deployed 1.66.1 on BETA channel right now, will push to STABLE channel hopefully later tonight; http://withsix.com/changelog
  2. Regarding the PwS patches; http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?170687-Iron-Front-as-mod-in-Arma-3&p=2868483&viewfull=1#post2868483
  3. The patches were 404 for a short while due to restructuring of our mirrors and delay in PwS 1.66 release, but it's out and fixed now since a few days.
  4. We'll be deploying improvements shortly, incase you keep having a slow experience, best to contact our Support directly with some details and we will get right on it. Some background; https://getsatisfaction.com/withsix/topics/unable-to-update-and-install-mods We'll be addressing some of the stability issues asap, some others are rooted a bit deeper into the app and will need some additional time to get sorted out.
  5. You can limit the amount of versions kept for starters. Also if you have another disk with more space you can actually set the synq directory to exist on that disk. Some background info: https://getsatisfaction.com/withsix/topics/why_does_it_use_nearly_double_disk_space We're working on a dynamic option though that should make the update process somewhat slower but saves you disk space.
  6. We're investigating the speed issues experienced by some users, as well as inability to download certain files. One Support topic tracking the issue is available at: https://getsatisfaction.com/withsix/topics/unable-to-update-and-install-mods Details like location, and which mods could help. Regarding the error you posted; this should've been a temporary issue in one of the BETA builds, if you keep running into it, you should allow it to restore the settings from a previous build, e.g 1.60 or 1.61. It's also possible to remove the affected setting from the XML file as well. We're working on improving our settings storage strategy to prevent such issues in the future. Hope this helps.
  7. Hi Sniperwolf, Thanks for the headsup! We've found and addressed an error in the forwarding configuration, do you find it improved now?

  9. Congrats mate, can't wait!
  10. We had a disruption in the web service this morning, it should be back up really soon. All downloads and other non-web related operations should've been unaffected.
  11. Thanks guys for the reports, we're about to deploy a fix. Apologies for the hassle..
  12. Ah in terms of repos you need to use indeed SU still to create a repo. Unless Shared Collections feature suffices for your needs. (perhaps with the Version control feature?) Soon we'll also add custom repo support to Shared Collections. And then soon after we're planning to drop the need for SU for Custom Repo creation all together :)
  13. Hi Denco, Negative, it is EOL (End of Life), the underlying distribution technology and API has evolved a lot since. What did you like more about SU, maybe we can keep it in mind when making improvements or even the next redesign :)
  14. Hi gatordev, I reckon in some place of the Game Settings probably there is a reference to the D drive, e.g a Game Path, Mod Path, or Synq Path, of one of the Games. If you find and replace it, the problem should go away. If you have trouble finding it, please send the logs to our Support page and I'll have a look. Hope this helps!
  15. Right on time for the holidays we are happy provide you with full mod version control for all your collections, a new and awesome header for all content pages and many improvements to Play withSIX. Click here to read all about the new goodies.

  17. Hi, Please send your repo details to support at withsix dot com and we'll have a quick look to see what's going on.
  18. @AwesomeRussianARMA! Our App, especially when not running, but also in general, should not interfeir with ARMA FPS. There is a slight chance that certain mods might though, are you running into the issue with or without mods? Anything in Task Manager that is using a lot of memory or CPU? @TonyGrunt: Is this still an issue? Play withSIX or SIX Updater? Thanks!
  19. We just had a major platform overhaul, getting right to this bug now :)
  20. Hi Zlin and thanks for your kind words :) We recently replaced our API with the next version, not only changing up the format but also how and where it is generated and obtained from. Sadly SIX Updater is not compatible with these changes, and I am currently looking at an approach on how we can solve this. As we do not yet have a replacement for custom repository management in PwS, aside from Collection Sharing; http://withsix.com/blog/share-your-experience Were you still downloading mods through SIX Updater? Could you elaborate on your use case? The workaround would be to use PwS to download and install the mods, and only use SIX Updater to manage the repository. Some more reference here; http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?171722-Discover-Play-Promote-missions-and-mods-withSIX&p=2809677&viewfull=1#post2809677
  21. Hi, Only if the software is not uptodate, as we have switched to our new API due to the content management changes. Are you running the latest? 1.58.854.2? ---------- Post added at 18:20 ---------- Previous post was at 18:17 ---------- Ah I guess what you mean is that the mods are not available in SIX Updater to include in the server required or optional mod lists.. That could very well be because that was reliant on the old API that is no longer being maintained. You could manually add the mods in the respective server.yml, Then reload it in SIX Updater and sync the repo again. Another workaround could be to first download the mod with Play withSIX to the folders supported by SIX Updater, then those mods might show up in the selection. For running servers we nowadays do recommend Play withSIX. Will investigate what we can do in the short-term to alleviate these issues...

  24. Hi Foxhound, I am sorry for not responding yet to your private message to me here on the forums. I'm personally not so much around here currently, and thus did not see it yet until I was pointed to your post today. Our main form of contact is our support section at our website, or email. We will get back to your private message ASAP.
  25. Hi AVIBIRD, Sorry to hear about your situation; we do not distribute malware esp not on purpose, nor do we bundle any adware or otherwise, our systems are verified too. It sounds you might have installed an adware program perhaps as part of advertisement, that is also something different from a Virus. Have you been able to clean things up? If you need any help, just write us at support (at) withsix (dot) com we would be glad to lend a hand.
