Ok, heres my problem. I patched from 1.12 to 1.14, however the main menu stil says I've version 1.12........ However, it's 1.14 in disguise, all the latest addons and islands work, even the extra warfare stuff is there. But it still thinks its 1.12 so I cant play on 1.14 servers online. Any ideas ? ?

Having read this thread I checked my ArmA (controls un-edited) and the view stays forward through turns, that is with Joystick and WASD and arrow keys.

Higher Res Higher Res OFM Uhao

I presume we require 1.14? Which is annoying because my patching failed but the game still works at 1.12, I'd need to reinstall to get to 1.14.

The biggest worry with SSD is the number of cycles they can handle which seems iffy as of now.

The crash landing is as epic as those tracers in the contact afterwards!

... To illustrate, your two images merged and badly lined up and commented to show similarities (of sorts) if its a match, its made in hell not heaven.......

If it is the end of the world maybe something better would replace it? Too many political, economical issues worldwide as of now IMO.

A large bit of the price for the Alienware PC's isn't hardware, as you said, it's professionaly built, and has nice cabling/airflow and such.. Yes, it's possible to build a computer, but if you don't know a lot about building computers (If it'd be your first computer, DO NOT start of making a $1600 computer.. I'd stronly suggest starting of with the cheapest parts you can find, use spares etc, and learn from your mistakes), having a well made, nicely setup and tested computer, than will give full support, and repairs (for a year, for free as far as I can tell) might make it seem a bit less overpriced.. Plus, the cases are extremely shiney Not that I'd use something like Alienware, but then again, I've put together a bunch of computers, and dismantled/reassembled computers a lot.. luemmel : Case, power supply and cooling stuff! - Ben Agree ^^. My current desktop was built (by me! about 2 months ago for just £450 british pounds. Which is pretty cheap (including monitor etc). Best not to risk it and a little money can go a long way i think.

Operation Flashpoint 2 officially announced
Mr Sarkey replied to imported_bör's topic in OFFTOPIC - Games & Gaming
Haha yeah so because they have the same real life gun in the game it's going to be a GRAW clone. I can't believe you guys, incredibly negative and pessimistic, you're just trying to find reasons to bash Codies despite EVERYTHING they've said pointing to a fanfuckingtastic sequel. Who gives a shit if they don't have screenies yet, I thought you were all obsessed with gameplay anyway (as you should be). It's based on the GRID/Dirt/whatever engine so it'll be good. What we DO know is that everything they've said about gameplay is looking VERY VERY good. I'll be laughing my ass off when OFP2 blows the shit out of everything released in the "tactical shooter" genre beforehand. The split between Codies and BIS is quite possibly the best thing that could have happened to OFP fans. We now have not one, but TWO games coming out both claiming to be the ultimate realistic squad-based shooter. And from what ArmA was like, I'm leaning towards Codies coming out on top, if nothing else because of their huge budget and team (largest project they've had to date), but regardless, I'll probably be buying both games. How do you know it will be good? Usign game from racing game on infantry.... It might be simple GRAW 2 style game but with old style ghost recon 1 gameplay, with open terrains... Withotu any screenshots and videos, this is not even a game... its jsut bunch of renders which they claim they will incldue in the game... I wonder how, when it could take up to 8 hours or even more to render image, in good quality.. Right now OFP2 is worthless game, i can make renders too and day i will make a game with uber realistic infantry action.... Will be funny to see when game is released, and tis not what Codemaster claimed..... At least with ArmA 2 you know what to expect, but codemasters, they never made any good as OFP, tactical shooters. I'm not een waiting for OFP2, because i didn't see a single ingame video or screenshot, but i did see ARMA 2 videos and screenshots. Agree. Lets see if they cough out in-game footage at E3 (unlikey but...) -
We must avoid the term, 'bunny hopping'.

Something has gone wrong here, do I have to update from 1.08 or can I go from beta 1.12 . I have tried installing 1.14 above 1.12 and the application fails to start (launches, black screen, 5 seconds, back to desktop).. I'm probably being stupid.

Beware when mentioning Assassins Creed, we dont need 16th century parkour. But I think something could be implemented such as COD4 (going through open windows etc)
