Hmm, that looks good, and should work me thinks. Cool I'll try that out while i try the multi side breifing again. Also does any one know if it's possible to swith the resistance sympathy mid mission with out actually joining them to dummy group or something...? Where is "resistance friendly to" declared durring a mission?

Should work with setrating -10000 in init line of the civis. I think that will make the civilians target eachother though  He's right, they'll kill each other. I tried the breifing again but couldn't get it to work.  Good Friday is coming up, so a few days off work should allow me to sus it out. Also does any one know how to make markers apear only for specific sides?  Something like switching them to be dissplayed as empty markers should do it, but i can't work out the "IF" code to do it for more than two sides......

Apparently so. H1 2006 they say. It aint out yet and probably wont be out in May so June is the last month of Half 1 of this year. However, nothing is final so it'll probably be out in time for Christmas 2000-and-something.

Does any one know if any one has successfully ported CTI over to Bas_Tonahl island (i know i've spelt it wrong, but its a good guess! useing all the Bas units (rebels and government)?

oooh, touchy. He's right though, we have no idea. Should be really fun though. First thing to do should be to load up the editor and place an empty chopper and a playable guy and fly around, sight seeing. can't wait!!

I agree whole-heartedly. Even if they release it now it might not stand the test of time....but having said that OFP is still as good today as it was then even though new games are far superior in every way except; playability and possibility.

I played a Demo of Ten Hammers last night. As well as controlling two fire teams by switching from one to the other, you could also divide each fire team in to two two man teams (and also a M2A2). While i admit FSW is more arcadeish than OFP, it's still maintained emersion and atmospheric (if a little complex to command all those teams around). At first i was appose to the character swapping but liked the idea of swapping unit models mid mission. Now i think it might work quite well in both situations. I'd like to try it out. Maybe they could release a demo featuring the swap option...

I did too! Aparently the animations will be the last thing BIS change in development. So the finished Armed Assault game will (or) should have different animations from Operation:Flashpoint

ok, sorry. Right, final verdict about Yoshiro's claim to have played the Armed Assault Demo: True; He actually played it and I'm realy jelouse and I hate him for it! or False? He sat infront of that video we've all seen, got his pal to take photos, and is trying to pass it off as him playing it...and I hate him for it! What do you think? PS; no offence meant  Â

Placebo did nt like that did he? Best we don't swear then 'eh? Back on topic, that che release date, think UK will be released also in June? I'm almost tempted to buy Ten Hammers, the only other game i've been looking forward to for years on end*, while we wait for Armed Assault. *(other than BiA:Earned in Blood (and that came very quickly))

Now that would be cool. That way only good players would be left for online playing! Also how about a backpack/harness and thigh plates that vibrate and stimulate your muscles to simulate fatigue from running? eg, Have you ever noticed how you can sprint from one end of nogova to the other non-stop?

Swift response chaps. Like it. I like the British units you've made so far, i'd just like have a whole army. No offence to the US army, but all games, all movies (and alot of books too) are mostly about the US Army or Marine Corp. It's a welcome change to see HRH's lads on the screen. Good work. Also, there seems to be a lot of military traffic lately coming down from Brecon. I hope its the end of a training exercise not a bird flu precaution!
