quite right. Also the little white building in the back ground.

Nice to see so much OFP content in ArmA. See the pier in that image above? Also look here, it's the factory building from Nogova.
-
...actually you still could'nt move while reloading in OFPv1.96. Also in the original you couln't run while kneeling down (you had to stand up again first).
-
I think the running looks nice. What I'm unsure of is the way they stop dead after a sprint.

I know this is out of place, but I have to say how much i loved and still do love, Operation Flashpoint. Â The huge environments and never ending possibilities...(oh, the possibilities..). Â The AI. Â Randomness of firefights. Â I've bought other games (Doom, farcy (even sims 2)) Â All have been played to death and returned to the shop. Â But OFP is still there on my shelf looking as apealing as it ever did. I'm actually quite sad, for the closing release of ArmA is like the foot steps of doom for my copy of OFP, for it is soon to be replaced.... Anyway back on topic; These AI improvements are sure to fit in with any mision thats been made, i guess hte only danger is it being too hard! (and i do hope it will be very hard indeed, games are way to easy these days!

Who says they've been waiting to work on it until now? Â All we know is they haven't implemented it in any of the press builds so far. ...he didn't say that mate. Read it again. He said, and I quote; *tisk, tisk*

BI have always maintained they are going to add/improve the AI, maybe they still will...?
-
who says? ...have you seen one? Did you see one in that line up that i missed? If so can you show me?

I don't see much in the way of new Arma commands, to do this sort of thing? Which is a shame. Perhaps if some of those nifty create config file commands make their way from VBS to Arma But I'm sure someone will come up with a suite of scripts to get the most out of JIP. As for enabling\disabling JIP, I don't see what’s wrong with giving the server admin the option? But either way, it's not the end of the world. Looks like you can do enough with mission params and the two JIP commands currently posted on the wiki, to cover most of the issues mentioned here. But there are definitely scenarios where you would want to stop lots of people connecting to your server. Lets hope that can be done by setting the number of playable units or something. Amen.

military bikes? civil bicycles? KC-10? Good point. Â There are no bikes! Â @Placebo, can you confirm if motor bikes and/or push bikes may be added at a later date?
-
Oh yeah!! Now we need a line up of soldiers too!
-
Well to quote William Porter; So prehaps we'd all better get learning some of the basics!
-
Remember not all soldier models have been revealed yet. Pilots, tankers etc. posible that there are Marines too...
-
Yippy!  P.S.  Why the hell is there a dancing banana in the smiles anyway?
-
Read it again. Â Some missions will suite it, others wont.

You ungratefull bunch. You at least have to admit that they look good. Remember the plot here. US were sent to the islnad to train a malitia, not to goto the front line. I'd emagine they would only takebare esentials so as to not upset the North. Also at the time of the conflict the US are in the process of leaving the island, so most to the good stuff would be gone, leaving lesser vehicles behind for the time being. I think the line up is fantastic and will force us to play the game and make do with what we have. Rar rar *rant*rave* blah blah

What's the difference weather he joins during the mission or ahead of time? in the example i gave, we forgot to lock it and didn't only wanted to play with two of us. So you can see no ocation when you wouldn't want a random player to join you?
-
Plans are the same regarding demos. ..these demos, will they be 100% complete or still WIP?

Hmmm...How do I explain this...? Some great mission designer makes a black op for three players.  If no human takes the place of one of the available slots, the AI will not take the role.  Say you and me set up a server and want to play together.  We pick our guys and guns and head off to make trouble...after forgetting to lock the server.. There we are sneaking around, planting explosives and coordinating our attack.  Then, after 2 hours, suddenly, Punk@55 joins in! Some little 13 year old n00b.  He starts running around shooting at every thing (maybe even us), setting of our charges, making a right bloody mess of things and destroying all our hard playing! In Ofp there was a feature to disable any unused playable characters.  In JIP, if the mission editor doesn’t enable this feature punk@55 n00b could spoil loads of games. Or maybe, me as a kick ass mission editor wants to be a right barsteward and make the players decision to go in with half a team irreversible (no PMing your buddies on MSN for help). Now on a CTI style mission, then yes one guy could start it, he's playing around for a while then another player joins in. Then another and another.  This is a great idea.  Or even on a death match setup, CYF or other traditional mP game.  But on the above examples I think the mission editor should have the first say if his mission will feature JIP.  If he allows it, then the server admin can decide

Does that mean that single player campaign can be played in coop mode?. I really would like that. Regards ..hmm.. sounds more like a single player can not play a coop mission on his own (as you could in OFP). "2 player COOP minimum." = 2 players required.

Maybe Armstrong and his buddies was a bit hard on the bottle in that last mission...so maybe they got demoted From the wiki (the last mission of CWC): Now move to FI67 to pick up David Armstrong. Additionally you can pick up the resistance leader at the castle ruins. Hes on top of the tower. Then get them all to the pub and drink a beer . Cheers! Too many beers!! Â Â "Go for it Dave!"

What, like this... Yeah, when is the US and UK release? WHo could it be? Damn it! Â I wish i could read czech!

"Poorly executed"? Perhaps in your opinion, which I respect, however this game has done tremendously well with fans, new-comers and the reviews and this is the first time ive really heard anyone say that the ability to change your camo was poorly done. What were they supposed to do? Have a whole sequence with Snake undressing, redressing and puting on his face paint? Imagine what impact on the gameplay this would have. No no no. Â I love the metal gear saga. Â What i mean by "poorly done" is the 'instantly swapping camo in the heat of battle' thing (also the healing wounds trick; fantastic idea, but too quick). Â I don't think the whole world should have been put on pause while you rub off your old face paint, put new paint on, take your cloths off, put new ones on, then carry on with the fight. Â I think you should have to runa away, put on the best suited camo for the ocasion then run back to the fight. thats all. I hope the camo in ArmA is fixed, just like in OFP. Â as long its as realistic as possible it wont bother me (or others, i'd emagine.)

Pardon me if I like to parody the 'language' occasionally. Â he he. Hows your story coming along mate?
