I'm having a conflict with other addons problem. If I remove the Map_Misc file from the addons folder the problem goes away. Unfortunately when I remove it I cannot play with the new Mapfact toys. Anyone else having this problem?

I've got the same problem.  Bought the CZ version back in October, I reinstalled the game when the 1.02 patch came out no problems. I have emailed Softwrap, hopefully I will get a response by Monday.  Lets keep our fingers crossed. I would think that the license agreement would allow for as many installations as necessary, as long as you  had the proper Referance code and Identification.  I just hope this issue is resolved soon.... I'm buying the US DVD version when it's released so these problems will be a thing of the past.

Does anyone know where the ambience sounds are located ? Cant seem to find the PBO so I can add this fine artillery barage. Thx in advance for your help.

Yep, You are missing nothing. Hopefully this will be addressed in the next patch. Trust me I feel your pain......

Great job !! However I have found one bug. It snows inside the buildings. I don't know if that can be fixed or if it's just something we will have to live with. Just thought I would pass that along.....

I downloaded the CZ version of the game from Sprocket, and I must say I'm very glad I did. Â I do not regret it for a second.... So what are you waiting for....

I've got an X800 Pro and I'm not having a single problem. If you've tried to overclock the card or your system this could be the root problem. Turn off any overclocking software like the ATI Tool. Or go into the BIOS and reset your system clock speed to defualt. On another note* Try using the -nomap command in the ArmA shortcut on your desktop. Should be <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">"C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA\arma.exe" -nomap in the target line.

I was going to post that I was having trouble saving my video preferances, but I just remebered that they are saved as read only..LOL. I guess I will change it back Sorry for the wasted post

I downloaded the game.  Installed the game, a menu comes up asking me to install the copy protection files on my computer.  I agree, only to have to have a message come up everytime I start the game to please insert CD/DVD into the drive so the game can start.  How do I get this to go away so I can play the game? Is there something I'm missing here? Thx for your help  PS, I'm not looking for a hack, just a legitimate way to get the copy protection to allow me to play.

I figured it out... been playing for a few minutes game looks good HDR is a bit brite but all in all so far I'm pleased with it...

Can someone translate this for me? I tried to download the game only to get an error message at the end saying the download failed try another server. I tried to email support @ sprocket but the email does not work. I emailed arma@idea-games.com and got this response.... I'm having the same trouble... I will contact visa in the morning and cancel the transaction.... Unfortunatly I'm starting to believe the whole Sprocket concept is a scam.

Is there a step by step tutorial I can use to create my own face.jpg If not would some mind importing my ugly mug into a face.jpg so I can use it ingame? I'm still trying to figure out how to UV Map or get the flattened image of my face. I've downloaded corel photo XI and I'm still not understanding the basics of how to import my own face ingame.
