You can save and restart in editor preview as long as you remain in the mission you're playing. Once you suspend the mission and go back to the editor screen all save games are lost and you have to start from beginning. kind regards

It should be. I read an article on a comparison between Fraps and Playclaw. It should put less strain on recording process. Fraps puts a heavy strain on FPS when recording and playclaw isn't . . .at least standing on what was written in the article. I'm also using fraps full version and I have no idea if playclaw is better FPS wise. Moreover there was written that Fraps isn't always running with win 7 meanwhile playclaw has no problems whatsoever. If you google playclaw you should be able to track the comparison article in order to make up your mind for yourself. kind regards

Yeah it's true. sorry my bad.

In that case any unit present in the trigger area will end the mission if I'm not wrong, since it's activation is set to anybody. I would rather group the player to the trigger area in order to avoid ending the mission by another unit. Select group (F2) from editor menu holding right mouse button and draw a line from player to the trigger area. kind regards

Hi and welcome to the forum. The option to play OA without DVD in drive is not avalaible at the moment since the game is still to fresh. Normally BIS release after some time a patch where it's not necessary to have the DVD inserted in your drive, but I guess it'll still take some time. If you are using a Beta patch the DVD isn't needed, you can play without it, but it might be that you'll have trouble when playing online in multiplayer. Don't know how many servers run with betas, furthermore BIS is churning out constantly new ones. Get yourself a DVD drive they are not very expensive, otherwise download the latest beta patch and you can play at least in single player without problems. Go the beta patch section in the forum and download the last beta and install it. An OA beta exe will be created in your OA main folder from where you can launch it. If you have to remove the beta just eliminate it by right clicking on the beta exe. Don't use the uninstall exe. which has caused some trouble in the past. kind regards

People will buy it in any case. Most of the console gamers over at CM forums most probably don't even know what the original OFP was. There's no way that CM will suffer profitloss. They will hype RR the same way as they did with DR because they got the budget to do it. They will go on and trash the OFP brand furthermore and there's nothing that anybody can do about it. kind regards

With all due respect, I doubt that seriously. DR was an enormous fail for all old OFP fans. By stripping Red River of what was left of DR it will getting only worse. Heck, DR had nothing whatsoever to do with the old OFP CWC nor will RR when it's finished. kind regards
