OA AAN Overlay
nettrucker replied to IndeedPete's topic in ARMA 2 & OA : MISSIONS - Editing & Scripting
Sorry for digging this up. But I'm fumbling for some time now to get the overlay to be removed at a certain point of my camscript. How can I disable the initintro.sqf from a certain point that displays the AAN overlay. I need the overlay removed at a certain point of my camscript. any help is really appreciated. thanks in advance -
how to lip sound/mouth?
nettrucker replied to kheiro's topic in ARMA 2 & OA : MISSIONS - Editing & Scripting
AFAIK wavetolip does work only with wav format. You need the wav dragged onto wavetolip not the ogg. Once you drag the wavefiles - lipfiles are created. These ones have to be copied and placed in your sound folder of the relevant mission. kind regards -
Yeah . . . Happy birthday Placebo. My best wishes. kind regards

yeah it has definitely been edited to create the video, but I mean the hilarrious conversation flow is natural. No doubt about that. Had a good laugh when watching the vids. It was very funny.:D

Nah i don't think it's scripted. I think they are just spontaniously funny. Spur of the moment thing I guess.:D kind regards

Until now, it didn't happen and I doubt it will. I hope also that BIS turns back in path and will surprise us with a campaign CWC like. not only the plot was awesome but the campaign included 40 missions. I just couldn't stop playing it was too addicting . . . when it came out. Now I played DR only one afternoon after it's release and playing through the campaign everything felt out of place for me. What bugged me the most was the spawning enemy thing due to the entity limits it had. It was inferior to the original OFP. Skira felt really empty to me. I was just "WTF". But in the end it's just a matter of personal taste. A simple preference and my choice, which game I like most. BIS games are this way, or you are totally in love with it, or you prefer to play something else. The concept of the BIS series is just such a huge thing. I believe there's still lot's of things wich can be done or improved. I have never found such a vast possibility of choice how to play ArmA in any other wargame. The other side of this absolute freedom is having problems all over the place. From gameplay problems to hardware problems . . . whatsoever. I can live with some flaws in the game design. Fact is that the quality control before releasing a game lacked the neccessary attention in the ArmA II release. Given the games concept I believe you could test for a lifetime and you will always discover some flaws. That is the nature of this game and it is far from perfect and your choice is to accept that or leave it and play something else.:D I know one thing though, the more I play ArmA CO the more I love it. Most people are unable to catch the real spirit of ArmA and all the people who are capable to catch it . . . they are all here. Some of us for 9 long years. The BIS community is strong because it's the most creative community I've ever been part of. Just my 2 cents Stick around. -
Great template. Had a closer look at it and used it in one Intro of a mission I'm making. Credits will naturally be given. No problems whatsoever encountered. Good job kind regards

I agree with that. could we immagine an OFP/ArmA with no ME, no dedis, no PVP, and the list is just endless. BIS did right to stay away from CM. Just my 2 cents. kind regards -

In the difficult settings you can enable the crosshair on every setting apart from Expert. Expert crosshair is disabled by default. kind regards -

I'm afraid so. I can't really explain why it did happen. Really strange. No Fade, no mods, no difficulty settings. If you're on DVD version it shouldn't be too much of a hassle. Install . . . use the latest patch. Just a bit of lost time but you should be done quickly. kind regards p.s. are you using the latest beta patch? By the way you do mean the crosshair don't you. Or is the recticle gone when you switch to optics? -

Well I suppose Templar did better with his MOd than the whole DR team. It's a logical reaction to the choice "hide in shame" for not keeping up with peoples expectations. kind regards
