  3. +1 :D Not a big fan of the OFP/ARMA flying model - I have IL2 if I want to crash some planes :P - but taking the Lynx for ride certainly is fun (especially on some hilly terrain like Aiatalik). Good work!
  4. Well, if the so-called community has nothing better to do than to use stuff without permission (with or without giving credits) then fuck the 'community'. And in the case of FAFw we get what we deserve - nothing. And after almost 10 years of addons for OFP/ARMA 2 we´re still not able to react to theft properly, i.e. to boycot the groups who are responsible for this. Sad, just sad... 100% support for the decision of the FAFw team!

  11. No prob, Sick. Btw, a big thank you for making GL4 available via SIX, would have missed 2 updates without it! EDIT: Ooops, had an older version. 014.4 installed the config properly :D
  12. There´s no GL4 folder inside the userconfig folder (dunno why, though). Just create one, put the GL4 sqfs in it and you should be good to go ^^

    Thanks again for this amazing pack, Jackal! Easily my favourite unit addon for A2. Btw, if some of you (especially mission designers) want 'fresh' weapons for these guys until the L119A1s are done , I´d suggest getting the M4 Custom pack by RH. Looks pretty good with the SAS units imo:

    Everon is ideal for long missions. Podagorsk would be better suited for a campaign imo, its bigger and offers more interesting locations (especially for CQC) . But both have an awesome performance, tho :D

Thanks for the very quick update, didn´t even have the time to install and test 1.17 :D One question: If I want to simulate that only groups with radios are able to call reinforcements, would this work? - place Custom and Static moduls, name the groups accordingly - add a "killed" Eventhandler to a specific unit (I´m using ACE so I can add a radio backpack, too, dunno if theres a backpack in vanilla Arma) this addEventHandler ["Killed", {[Groupname] execVM "GroupTransfer.sqf"}]; GroupTransfer.sqf _grp = _this select 0; _grps = str _grp; call compile format ["EX_%1 = createGroup EAST",_grps]; call compile Format ["_d = EX_%1",_grps]; {[_x] join _d} forEach (units _grp); Can´t test the code atm (it should work, though :D), I posted it to give you an idea about what I want to do. So, would renaming the existing group work and disable the reinforcement (or GL4 features in general)? I could let them just join grpnull, of course, but I want to keep that option if the teamleader and the radio guy are killed.
  20. An adjustable delay between the trigger for reinforcements and the actual call would be nice, too. If set high enough, one could kill the entire group before they can call their mates for help :D
  21. I´m using Spirited Machine´s launcher and Im very happy with it. Better to start with mods that change the visuals/sounds only, then. PROPER tweaks, WarFX, JTD, Vop sound, Hifi, Chammy´s sound mod, just to name a few. After 2 or 3 weeks (or when you really know whats actually happening on your screen) you can start using gameplay enhancing addons. Have fun!

  23. Seconded. I just love radio chatter, it adds so much to the immersion (and it gives me the ECP fix I need since OFP :p).
