most standard parachute drops happen from 1000metres. Parachute opens automatically just after leaving a plane. One can jump from 300 metres or even lower but it depends on skill, weather, speed of plane and terrain. Acrobatic jumps, HALO jumps are from 2K m. and higher.

@Doomguy Your warfare has great feature with buying assets by radio. Player can use radio himself, radioman or radio in vehicle. Thats great and realistic but, there is issue with that feature. If you die in vehicle then mission still thinks you are in vehicle ie. dont refresh buying buttons/functions. You still can use radio even if you dont have one and you cant use standard rearm/buy functions by standing near factory. I found that in 1.1.5d version, ACE 1.00, non-dedicated server.

yep, thanks GranQ, very fine mission. I loved Generation Kill and I'm looking forward to missions with this style and feel. but... Pufu's version looks great (ACE baby). So, I hope you can take (both or whatever, I dont mind) those changes and release ACE version also.

We had problem both with Opfor and Bluefor. I dont know if Resistance was working. It was PvP game with multiple players and both Commanders was AI. Very often there was report about AI who ignore player but not only standing AI in base. There was many AI's standing in base but there was some running through landscape. Only couple of them engaged players and I'm not sure because of what condition. Furthermore I'm not sure if they were AI controlled squads or players as nobody could verify this ingame. I'm sorry that my report is not precise. I'll try to test it more and find out where problem lies. As I heard today, there was match played in standard Warfare too with same problem but for less AI.

Last night we had a problem with AI. They didnt attack enemies. I'm not sure if this is a problem with ACE or a mission. We played WACO 1.1.5d ACE version on dedicated server. On local server we had no such a problems. ( I will report this on ACE forum too)

Thank you for your effort Doomguy. Its the only map for ACE I play actually as I do not have working inet connection. I was really happy to see that you added possibility to buy backpacks and some more ACE weapons. I'm looking forward to more weapons and vehicles from ACE. Anyway, I have question: will it be possible to add buying whole squads/groups as they're defined in ACE. For example USMC Mortar Squad or whatever. Second, sometimes I do not know if I should destroy radio tower in city, its not rewarded or I just didnt see any reward for this. Of course I know that it halts reinforcements. Thing I do not like is respawn as next team member. It breaks my realistic feeling. Maybe it should be optional? Last thing: in ACE version medics always do not act when you are wounded. In ACE mod they should and sometimes go to wounded men and treat them. Maybe its coincidence maybe not but its not working in your Warfare. Sometimes very frustrating Anyway, keep up good work

superb. One of the prettiest thing in ACE Found a bug that some of guys (ACE Restistance->Resistance with East Weapons) - has AK74 which is different than standard (ACE OPFOR -> Rifleman) AK74. Its propably RedHammer's or RHS's, I'm not sure. -

good stuff! Try Mando scripts for air units and there wass script with HUD for helicopters. Both use same method AFAIR edit: ups sorry didnt properly understand your question As for disabling air units radar you can put a black box over it (Mandoble did it) or change their config and disable radar there. You can override default configs for standard choppers but it wont work for addons unfortunatelly

nice stuff, you still use Google Maps as source or you can use other server for that? And do you have your IDE or using Google. On first sight I thought you were using images as maps/backgrounds and that would be awesome as you could make Flash map with Sahrani for example

+1 I recently tried to run Arma on SuseLinux under Wine but with no success. 3D rendering wouldnt work. I wish to play Arma/Arma2 under Linux even if its in emulated mode and slower. Please BIS, take it into consideration, maybe its just small one to make it working

I think its based on game "Terrorist Takedown 2" not actual real GROM soldiers. Game was shitty IMHO and so is yours addon. Sorry for being rude, I'm pretty sure you will get more experience and finally quality will be better. Thats just my opinion. Keep working.

Suppression fire aims to stop of enemy movement and fire. Its simple fire towards enemy and make them hide. It is used along with flanking movement, in military known as "covering fire" AFAIK.

yep, but only on one picture. Its more like static animation ... Look at the rest of screenshots, for example this with russian soldier running - his hand clipps PK in strange place.

its very nice! Actually I can fly chopper below 1m at full speed I wish to look more into the script, maybe I can replace standard ka-50 camera view. As can be seen on youtube its somewhat close to your HUD.

very nice work! I suggest to add nose-direction indicator, but it can be hard as pilot can turn his head around and I'm not sure if there are functions to check that. Another thing is weapons indicators ...

I'm proud to inform you that: - my Kiowa found good place in one of the Arma MODs, the one, which should be called "ultimate" - it looks like there is more than 1 man working on it at the moment, including the most skilled addonmakers in community So, after months of laziness it has a chance to being completed. Thank you all for kind words and watching this place. Especially thanks goes for people who sended me info, bug-reports and materials.
