Just out of curiosity would this work with custom weapons as well (say like addons) ? I'm guessing not since they are seperate stats/files etc right?

nice try , I * distinctly * remember seeing a tigerstripe retexture of a *sussly* looking arma player model holding a M79. Never the less the units keep me happy for the moment and the new coverted weapons and vehicles keep me entertained.

Hmm snake finally fixed my VTE by Re-downloading the RE-alpha release then patching it , however I was a bit dissapointed to find all the units and most weapons are still In placeholder format. I thought I remembered seeing a tigerstripe unit in some screenies ?

Wow I'm surprised you don't feel stupid after that post. What do think helps them work towards fixing arma ? More dosh genius.

Theres no Serial required to install Queens Gambit. Seems like online distributors got some confusing confirmation emails, the guys on the german forum say that. that's pretty shitty then for some , what's to stop people from downloading it illegally? What's stopping people from downloading any game illegally? Copy protection is always cracked in no time anyway. What I meant it is , most games even when cracked , still stop people from playing online. If this is only a bunch of addons pasted into the addons folder or something , then theres not much stopping people.

Try dropping your graphics back to normal , I have a so so 7600GT , you have a monster fucking 8800 , yet I do not get major FPS drops when I go into forested areas.

Sure thing only a few probs: 1. The mission runs with urban patrol script (thats not really a problem I'd just send it with it). I've also got to update mission but can't atm due to below. 2.the mission is like a bare arse , no briefing , no objectives , just patrolling enemy squads in the jungles and towns. I pretty much made it so my clan would get used to being on their toes from not ever knowing when or where we'd make contact. 3. I having problems with VTE at the moment. I originally downloaded the alpha release , and hotfix 1. Now I got excited when I saw 2 new hotfixes for the vietnam goodness. But to my dismay , hotfix didn't *seem* to install , but hotfix 3 did. Then when I went to open arma it tells me VTE cant find music cfg h or something. Whereas my friend got a different error saying it couldnt find magazine cfg.

I gots to say , even at the alpha stage , this stuff is hella fun. I've been utilizing this and the urban patrol script in conjunction to great effect. My clan created a sort of free roam on MDSZ with no set objectives but rather AI groups set to patrol various parts of the island. This way we'd never be exactly sure of when we'd encounter enemies or where. At one moment a village was occupied by VC , the next time we played it was clear and we found them in a jungle 200 meters south. We pretty much could patrol the whole islands not knowing when or where it might happen. Very tense stuff. Thanks guys. BTW that M16A1 model is excellent , so is the pig. Can't wait for the XM177E1/Commando.

I didn't know 56k still existed . But to answer your question , queen's gambit was set for the 4th in Australia so chances units have just come into your local EB store or something. -

you need to copy the script file into the new mission folder QuietMan .. sorry don't mean to be sarcastic , but I did that. On ALL of the missions i created with the script.

Sorry for bumping , but i need serious help with this script. I followed the installation instructions and how to use the script and i made a mission which was fantastic. However ever since I've tried to create other missions using the script (using the same method ect) , it says it cannot find script , even when i did something as simple as taking that original mission adding something , then saving under a different mission name . Help would be appreciated.

sorry if this has been covered but the new weapons ,ect. are invisible to me , i have installed both the base pbo and vila's vietnam addon yet all are invisible and the player looks like he's in the normal standing position ? help?

placing units/objects inside of buildings

wanted to create a room clearing training mission for the clan im in , but i don't know how to place units inside of buildings , such as the one you do in that campaign mission to snipe the officer. help appreaciated -

at least you dont take offense to what you've said yourself is somewhat low quality . in my opinion they look like ghost recon 1 , rainbow six 1 or Swat 3 textures and models , . at least you're trying though , good on you.

if these are the sounds from BF2 then they're not realistic at all , the Project Reality mod for BF2 has far far far more realistic sounds. i have half a mind to rip em from that. (great mod by the way , several members of the Dev team have a military background and they've made the mod so much more then just a simple realism mod -which in itself is good for BF2 - they've added new classes , equipment and new armies like the british and a insurgent faction , my favourite game/mod atm , besides Arma which i wont be playing online till the 505 release) well... some of the BF2 sounds are realistic , others ...

i think the XDF clan will be remaking one of those few ADF mods .
