i haven't really figured out how it works, but sometimes i have only a couple of options for my AI soldier, while the just cleared base is covered with AK'\s RPG's , BIZON's , handguns, binocs, NV's , tanks , tied up woman etc... just move around a little bit, face in a diffrent direction and right-click on the thing you want him to grab, then most likely it's in the menu list.

most bridges in addon islands fuck up when you put the terrain detail on (very) high. i once made a beautifull firing range map, had a rifle range, sniper range , AT range, pistol range , mortar range.... then we went and played it on medium settings... so far for my map... everything was made in High detail, so in allmost all pits there where bumps covering the targets , lying positions no longer overlooked the targets, etc.... grrrrr

i've got a pair of Plantronics Audio .70 headphones, and i'm happy with it! you only have two ears, if you hear something you just know where it comes from (don't ask me how :P ) it's ideal! nobody listening to what you're doing on the PC, not having to be afraid to piss some neightbor off, etc. and it removes allot of noise from your PC , those flying things "autside" etc

when reading this topic i was shocked, he was just asking how to make a backup of a CD and immediatly gots seen as a pirate, i mean, WTF?! you can download Gold Upgrade via the internet, saves you €10 so you pay € 19.95 instead of € 29.95* so if you have done that and have been forced to format your system (every gamer knows how much that sucks) you just lost a € 20 game... great! now by this time Gold Upgrade only costs like € 10 so it wouln't matter much, but what bugs me is that talking about backing stuff up on a CD is forbidden on this forum, if i say i'm going to copy the BOH mod on a CD here this topic turns into a anti-Gandalf flame war before getting locked... while i've paid the price for it (free mod ) and so did he (prolly)! my question: should the rules be changed? so that talking about making a backup isn't accociated with piracy anymore? or should the guy just go to OFP.info forums? greets, Gandalf the White * = based on outdated prices

dudes, i'm back again (as if you noticed i was gone ) and with me i have the most idiotic suggestion!! offcourse EVERYONE knows that the most important part of the game itself is the installation! so what about a contest to make THE most intresting / fun installation program for OFP2? something with pictures, voices, a briefing, or maybe actually a fullscreen program itself? like Red Alert 2 did,and when the program is installing maybe get a weaponlist where you can get some background information on vietnam or something, or with a nice tune to get in the mood for playing (on the PC that is ) this might be your chance to work on OFP 2 !!! atleast.... if the admins think it's a good idea...

the only bad thing about it was that you couln't turn off that music, wich was pretty annoying when you already had your own music running

maybe because in specop missions you have to contol your AI very closely?

still, id would be nice to make it a little contest, both party's benefit, BIS get's a nice installer, the creator get's bragging rights (and baybe a OFP2 T shirt? )
