    Arma bugs

A few weeks ago I experienced this strange and slightly surreal bug: The anchorman was seriously injured and as a result wasn't able to speak. It occured only once and I don't know what caused it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0pg7muOOybU

AAR - Conquering The Town & Easter Egg

Did anyone find this one yet?

    Helicopters in AA

It's pretty obvious in a video I recorded some days ago. Note that V0=0.

    Arma bugs

So it's a Dr. Watson style error like this one?

Is Voice Over Net working in the demo?

One question: Does VON work with LAN games? We tried it yesterday but couldn't get it to work.

    How big is Sahrani again?

    C'mon...
  7. I get this error sporadically too. I think it occurs in connection to the use of ALT-TAB. Version: 1.02 German I've got pretty much the same system and settings as Vänskä: Everything on high except postprocessing on low. Changing to map when flying

Calling it a "realistic feature" is opportunism. I'm also very unhappy with the current implementation. Why can't the textures'n'stuff be kept loaded in the background while displaying the map?

    Arma bugs

It's neither dramatic nor urgent but I think it should be mentioned: Most civil cars don't have working tachometers. Well, that's no bug, that's sad and it's even more sad that (here comes the bug) the cars which have a "working" tachometer apparently display the wrong speed (or the cars are incredibly pimped): Some vehicle names are from the German version: Offroad: works but: 0 - 100 km/h = ~1s 0 - Vmax (180 km/h) = ~2s Pickup: works but: 0 - 100 km/h = ~2s 0 - Vmax (120 km/h) = ~3s Car: tacho looks bad/has no pointers Limousine: tacho looks bad/has no pointers Fließhecklimousine: tacho looks even worse but pointers are present and turn (but without any reference) Bus: tacho looks bad/has no pointers Ural: tacho works/looks nice

    Helicopters in AA

My intention was to point out that the possibility to fly such maneuvers does not speak for the flight model.

    Helicopters in AA

Well, I like the new flight model more than the original one, but this isn't very realistic, is it? http://youtube.com/watch?v=AFdNo5yL33M

Bring back driving and cursor as in OFP

This has to do with usability, not with wanting things to be like in OFP. Why worsen things that were more or less working in OFP? I'm also able to drive the cars with the new steering, but it feels like guessing where your tires point at...

Bring back driving and cursor as in OFP

You might be right, I'm currently not able to play the game, but iirc, It's nevertheless very hard to dose it right.

Bring back driving and cursor as in OFP

This may work with low speed, but try to stay on road with full speed and keyboard controls. The keyboard is a digital input device which means 0 = no steer / 1 = full steer. It's simply impossible to stay on track because you literally have to act as a human dac by "interleaving" the steering signal manually. Hope you get what I mean... Additionally it's just not practical to turn the steering wheel back to zero while not moving the mouse, just like it's not practical to not show the cursor! It's incomprehensibly to me...

    Armed Assault is -AMAZING-

IIRC, the version for Germany will be the same Build, only translated.

    Faces / Uniforms

If the player models can be loaded into O2, wouldn't it be possible to publish a model for those who want to test their custom faces but don't have ArmA yet? I'd really appreciate this.

    Sahrani map!8

One map raster unit seems to be 125x125 meters so I enlarged Nogova a bit. The raster units are the same size in every map, aren't they?

    Sahrani map!8

Not too hard to guess , nevertheless: Nogova in red

    Sahrani map!8

19,5cm x 14cm with 300dpi. The resolution isn't that exciting, at least not for printing. I'd say, everything larger than DIN A4 will look pretty blurry... Wasn't there a PDF map of Nogova? I think a PDF map of Sahrani would be much more suitable for sketches.
  20. I ordered Friday evening and performed the transfer at the same day by Internet Banking. Then there was the weekend and the money was apparently transferred on Monday, that's at least what Internet Banking says... I'm only wondering why Morphicon didn't sent the confirmation by themselves, I think they received the money before today. You may also send them a mail if you think that your money should already be on their account. EDIT: @benus: Sounds good, so there's nothing to worry about...
  21. WTF? My inquiry was sent at 1600CET and I received the response at 1601CET: Workaholics @ Morphicon
  22. Hm, I didn't, although the transfer data was correct and the money was apparently transferred on Monday. I don't want to lose my reservation. I'll write a mail to Morphicon...
  23. Convincing work by Morphicon so far, I have to say... Did anyone receive a payment confirmation yet? Those cheeky banks are stretching the transfer periods in an inappropriate manner.

    Latest screenshots available

How do you know it is inland water? Am i missing something? Well, it's an assumption, you actually can't see it although I'm pretty sure I've seen it before. I'm just concerned about the wave simulation. E.g. when you look at 1:24 in the US-Forces Video, you can see waves on the river. I wouldn't be bothered if they would look natural, but the wave directions don't seem to be relative. Or look at the bridge in this shot. I think, BIS said some time ago that they're working on the coastal effects. So I'm confident nevertheless.
