The Mercian Regiment (Cheshire, Worcesters and Foresters, and Staffords) is an infantry regiment of the British Army, which is recruited from five of the counties that formed the ancient kingdom of Mercia. Known as 'The Heart of England's Infantry', it was formed on 1 September 2007 by the amalgamation of 3 existing regiments. The Regiment has had eight operational deployments since its formation. What's this Military Simulation Unit all about? 1 MERCIAN is a British Military Simulation Unit that focuses on 2 major aspects: The ability to have Fun while playing in a Disciplined and Serious manner. Our goal is to stand out from all of the Arma 3 units and achieve a well structured, organized, friendly staffed, efficiently built and professional military simulation unit. We provide proficient and well edited missions and trainings to give you the ultimate experience. We engage in large-scale, well coordinated and combined arms counter-insurgency operations in a realistic manner against unconventional forces where warfare becomes very unpredictable thus making it more enjoyable for the members as well as making them more vigilant in each mission and operation. 1 MERCIAN usually operates in middle eastern theaters most notably, Afghanistan. Why enlist in 1 MERCIAN? Provides a well-structured recruitment system along with a lengthy but interesting basic training process. Focuses on the game play being as organized, well coordinated and perfectly executed as much as possible. Provides many courses leading to various exciting positions. Provides training handbooks and other documents to members, staff and trainees for easy learning and reminders. A persistent and dynamic campaign with real time outcomes and consequences. Realistic interactions between civilians and other military personnel that have authentic intentions. Community events and campaigns during non-operation days. Utilizes underrated mods to increase realism and authenticity. Requirements: [*]Candidate must be fluent or decent in the English language. [*]Must own a legal copy of Arma 3 (No DLCs required to enlist) [*]Candidate must be 16 years of age or above. (Exceptions can be made if mature enough) [*]Candidate must have a Microphone, Discord and TeamSpeak 3. [*]Candidate must be able to attend 1 event per week between 6-10pm GMT/BST and have active status. Our main operations are on a Saturday night while training can happen on any day of the week. [*]Candidate must be active on Discord. [*]Candidate must have their steam profile set to public. [*]Candidate must not have an excessive amount of VAC/Game bans. However the candidate has to thoroughly explain and give a valid reason on the ban(s).
