for vigor pve when in the future release dev ?
fOrsythiaa replied to Dylan Lievens's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Hi there, thank you for your question ๐ We will not be implementing PvE in the future, as we'd like to keep the game PvP, which is our vision for Vigor. If you'd like to be able to loot, you can try tactics in Encounters which use sneaking around and keeping quiet, while listening for footsteps and such in order to avoid other Outlanders. It's also totally alright to go into Encounters without any weapons for the purpose of looting ๐ Another thing, is that some Outlanders can be friendly - try waving "hey" at them, and see if they'd leave you alone once they realise you have no weapons. I hope this clarifies things, and that the tips help even a little bit. See you in the Outlands. ๐ -
will the old battle pass seasons ever be on switch?
fOrsythiaa replied to JDHH's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Hi there, unfortunately we will not be putting old battle pass seasons for the Switch. This is because updates for the Xbox and the Switch happen simultaneously, so the battle pass that his active in the Xbox will be active on the Switch, and vice versa - same goes for content and game modes, etc. If you're looking to obtain items from previous battle passes, such as cosmetics and blueprints, you are definitely able to do so through the crates from air drops - it can take some time and grinding, but it will eventually be obtainable after a bunch of crates ๐ Hope this clears things up for you. ๐ See you in the Outlands. -
Hello ๐ thank you for sharing your ideas and issues with us. They will be passed on to the team, so that we can put it into discussion. Thank you, see you in the Outlands. ๐

cross-save Nintendo Switch / Xbox One account merge AKA cross-save
fOrsythiaa replied to Jaiples's topic in Xbox Technical Issues
Hi there, thanks for reaching out to us. Unfortunately we are not planning on implementing cross-saving or cross-progression - indeed, you are meant to start fresh on a different console. The only thing enabled is cross-play, with Encounter lobbies having a mix of Switch and Xbox players. I hope this answers your question. See you in the Outlands. ๐- 3 replies

Thank you for bringing this up - we are looking into different possibilities for this. ๐

Hello, thanks for reaching out to us on this. If you've already been in touch with our support and they have responded with the same information as you've stated regarding your account's wipe, then unfortunately there isn't much we can do about it. If you think there has been a mistake on this, please contact our support email (you can find it on https://vigorgame.com/contact)

Hello, we're currently working on something that can improve how maps are chosen for quick play - it should help in terms of variation of maps ๐
-
Hi there, sorry to hear you're experiencing this. If you've really tried what you've already mentioned, it can be perhaps related to the NAT settings of your console - changing it could help.
-
Since there is a list of things you can pick up by chance on the crate that you open, this can be used as motivation to pick up more green crates. Once you've opened enough green crates to tick every kind of loot/reward on the list, the list refreshes with more rewards, which can be better the next time around - it's all by chance.
-
Though this is a good idea, it does not match what we want the game to be. Paying for advantages is not what we want for our game - microtransactions are there for cosmetics for yourself, or boosts for the whole lobby which is a fair fight for loot and the crate.

Hi there, that's indeed a strange one ๐ You can contact our support email for sure, you can find it here: https://vigorgame.com/contact

Sorry to hear about the recoil - indeed, it does take time to get used to the recoil we've finally returned to the game. Some good guns to start off with are the Thompson or Vz. 58p, where the recoil goes upward, so you can counter it by pulling your right stick downwards. Also, short fire bursts are better than continuous shots on auto. I hope these tips help you out, @swiftsilentdeath.

@Eldritch-TA thank you for sharing this info - we've recently found out that deleting the challenges which are still active can solve the issue. So if you delete the 3rd challenge of looting 1000 wires, it can help solve the issue ๐
-
Hi there, so far what we've found out is that if you reset all the challenges you have that are active, it should fix this issue and you'll get all 3 challenges working like it should be. ๐
-
As I mentioned in my previous comment, we've essentially made the recoil similar to how it used to be - which means, it is how it should be. It can be tough to get used to if one's not used to the old recoil; indeed, it's very easy to get used to guns with little to no recoil (which was the case with Season 3). Recoil does depend for every weapon though, and like I recommended, you can get used to the recoil of the guns through practice/usage.

Hello, we are getting some reports on it - It seems that sometimes one of the challenges can get stuck and the other 2 have issues loading. So far, the team has been investigating, and it looks like this does not affect all players, so we believe that this must have something to do with a particular challenge. Can you please share with us which challenge is stuck for you? It'll help us figure out a fix for it ๐

Hello, we understand that the changes we've made to the game so far can be upsetting; however, we've made them as we believe it improves the game. Map selection was removed to shorten queue times, as well as to lessen the prevalence of teamers - which we believe have both improved over time. The return of map select in the future is highly unlikely. As for the recoil, we've faced issues in Season 3 which made recoil almost non-existent. With Season 4, we've managed to return the recoil as we had wanted it to be (and it has received praise from our long-time players who have practiced and gotten used to recoil control). We've brought back the unique feel to each gun in the game - we understand it can be frustrating as it is now more difficult for those who are not used to it, but you can definitely get to know the guns and their recoil in the Shelter's shooting range.

remove team killing from 5v5 elimination
fOrsythiaa replied to motagrapamain's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Hello, thanks for bringing this up. There's a system that removes team killers from the match if they had killed their teammate a certain amount of times in the game (I believe it is 3 times); however, we will look into ways that we can improve preventing team killing. -
Cool idea ๐ thanks for sharing, it will be passed on to the team.
-
Hi there, thanks for the idea; it will be passed on to the team for discussion ๐
-
Hello, thanks for the post. The team has worked had to give the guns their own individuality and its own feeling through recoil. Of course, we can tweak the guns a bit more if it is required. With Season 4, we've actually reverted the game to its original recoil pre-Season 3, as everyone knew that Season 3's recoil was not how we wanted - it was essentially non-existent. Though plenty of the players are happy with the return of recoil, we understand if it can be difficult to get used to; we're hoping that with practice, you learn to enjoy the weapons and stick with us through it. Thank you, and see you in the Outlands. ๐

Hello, thanks for the post - the team is aware of being unable to collect some of the mementos, and they are working on it. Sorry for the inconvenience it has caused ๐
-
Hello, thank you for bringing this up. Indeed, it seems like an issue - we're not yet sure how it can be resolved, but the team has already been made aware and they are looking into solving it ๐ Sorry for the inconvenience it has caused.
-
Hi there, the team is aware of this issue and is working on it - it seems that it is more difficult of an issue to solve than it looks. Some people say that the leaderboards randomly start working for them at some point; hoping that this isn't too much of an inconvenience. ๐
-
Season 3's recoil was actually not intentional - it was an issue that rendered all the guns to have little to no recoil. We've reverted the recoil to the pre-Season 3 state, which is how we would like recoil to be ideally. Of course, we can look into tweaking the recoil of some guns slightly, if the recoil is indeed too much; however, so far we've been hearing plenty of positive feedback on the returned recoil ๐
