Ah but how do you add that to the motitization schem....I mean system? Maybe we could adopt a fortnite system where we pay to unlock the piñatas? Or killing floors cosmetic crates where we need keys to unlock them? 🤔

I’ve already decided to be honest I’m not playing at all until next update, no matter what is in the next season I will not buy the pass even with my Microsoft points. I’ll pay for a stand-alone dlc as I mentioned before in another thread, not a season pass but a full on buy it once and done effort. Otherwise no more spending on vigor for me no matter what weapons or items they add I HATE HATE HATE time crunches and racing to unlock stuff I wanna do it on my time not theirs! It’s the reason I stopped playing apex, loved the game, hated the season pass grind.

Children will love vigor! All those in app purchases to choose from! 😃

Like I said before in my own post it feels like this has been intentional A to stop people doing easy challenges for exp to make it grindier or B to force people to fight and play encounters aggressively knowing a lot of people have hit the point of fully upgrading. Seems like a desperate attempt to force player activity if they want any rewards from the season pass. As I’ve said no spending money anyone! Not until they come up with a happy medium and stop throttling the game as they are.

Honestly I’m your position I would not have bought the battlepass at all so late in, while I’m sure a veteran player with gear and some spare crowns could get through it as you say a new player would struggle. I would suggest you sample some of the topics on this forum and see the abundance of complaints people have had over various weapons and play styles taking hold these days particularly the hunting of players for a gun fight match every round as opposed to looting as was the original aim of the game

Bear in mind most developers have the ability to send colleagues home with dev kits and work from home shouldn’t be any issues getting the odd response back from someone in the PR dept. If their not sending workers home to keep them safe somethings also quite wrong there, not asking for miracle dlc during this crisis just an update or a response really I think is the general consensus of the community I would say. 🤔😌

Yeah games dead for me at leat for now I don’t even care about unlocking the plans for the other guns I’m missing svu, mp5 etc where before I was gonna play to about level 38, now 28 is as good a stopping place as anything. I just can’t be bothered, I’ll keep logging in at least and keep an eye open in what this bunker type thing is gonna turn into but I suspect it may be another positive that will become a negative or a way to make money. Notice we’ve not had a visitor from the PR dev in a while on these forums probably not sure what to say to all these comments I imagine 😅 I don’t envy him/her.

I remember applying c4 to helicopters on my own team making them crash into buildings as fall damage and sabotaging the mission 😂😂

You’d have to pay to unlock each area if we’re going open world here! Battlepass wouldn’t cover it be a separate thing maybe battlepass premium deluxe? Could open up avenues for tank skins too! The sharks you mentioned is a good idea! Get some cosmetics for them! The water on those lakes would like be irradiated though 🤔 people might only have so much iodine could have packs in the store selling plan to iodine crafting.

You think we can use this to camp barred house to prevent safe cracking? Or any other building for that matter minus the bunkers on batterie draug of course.

Could also balance the minigun for those worried about it being Op with heavy recoil but a one shot to the head mechanic also deforests the local area to remove cover but the helicopter is very loud so you know where it is!

Yeah this new content their bringing better be damn incredible otherwise that’s my battlepass completion down th drawn at level 28 😂 I was crutching a bit on easy challenge completions for the exp now I have to actually play when I don’t want to for mostly unboosted games that give no exp. I’ve played 3 encounters in the last few days trying to get 5 pa md kills for 150 wire gave up after 1 kill because sweats with an akm are better than me with a kd of 1.5 or higher 😂

Yeah that sounds like the vigor for me 😂 armoured survival of the fittest! Hell while we’re at it we should have kill streaks! Become a threat and get to call in a Blackhawk complete with 50cal door gunners to help secure the airdrop for an easy extraction! 😈

I wouldn’t necessarily get rid of a gold crate challenge like that even though my own kD and subsequently my survival rate reflects and loot and run tactic I’d certianly stick it out for gold. Mine were of course 5-10-15 kills for literal junk rewards. No issues with gold weapons in dig and safe as that’s what’s needed to make it more appealing and rewarding. Avoiding major interest points to find an adr or something in the cache would be cool. But yes these Challenges at least so far seem to be even more throttling than before, time will tell anyway.

Any conclusive proof that they used bots? Just speculation otherwise though I am curious if this was the reasoning for the map selection removal not to combat cheaters but to address falling player count.

There may also be some ethical boundaries around the killing of animals say some guy goes to this “new wildlife location” packing an adr and pumps a bunch of animals full of lead it could reflect badly on BI. Things like that we have to consider with realistic style games such as this, I for one don’t want to see this feature implemented though I appreciate the idea and thought process behind it trying to drum up some new fun content, just isn’t viable I don’t think. 😌 I’m waiting to see what happens with this bunker looking thing in the shelter and see what becomes of that

Very good question! Could be a hidden conspiracy! But then they surely wouldnt keep updating the game with large content packets if we were at the stage of bots 🤔

For the most part yes I think the issue is too much emphasis on consumable items it’s kinda watering down gameplay. I kinda like the idea of a smoke grenade to mask your escape with the drop maybe or to block up an exit but what the game needs I think is more maps and updated spawns.

So I played a couple of games earlier this evening and me and my vigor partner on my friends list boosted a few games to improve spirits and while most didn’t join in a couple of people actually boosted with us! Can’t say just how refreshing it is to briefly experience the joys again of boosting to 400% and getting a barred spawn with insurance on! 😂😏

Me and my buddy tried to start a trend going and jumpstart the good old boosting days I’ve decided to keep at it so long as I’ve got free crowns to spend more as a gift to the community than for myself, loot only though drops ain’t worth it whereas loot itself is better for exp for everyone

I like the idea of throwables, I also lile the idea of thermal imaging 😛 go on BI go make this a full on cod game so I have no reason to stick around 😂 go full future tech with mech suits from cod some rpgs, vehicles etc little bird helicopters to scope out the drop with. We’re already dipping our toes in the water might as well take the plunge 😂

Given the wealth of new games coming soon I wouldn’t be all that sad if that did happen. I used to spent Microsoft credit on crowns in game as my way of supporting the good old vigor, now I’ll likely just save them up and get a certain game with 2077 in the name that’s gonna be real nice. I’ll keep one eye open on vigor though hoping and praying it gets better again
