Alright thanks for the help guys.
-
@kodabar thanks for your effort man

The Linux branch is behind. But the other guy I quoted in my earlier post had the same problem, and doesn't run Linux. Thread creator mentioned that he also gets the p3d messages, so I doubt it's anything version/operating system specific.

Arma 3 version 1.64 CBA from here http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=18767 Ravage mod version 0.1.42

I give up, cool mod guys
-
LMAO, now the game is crashing right when i start Arma 3
-
Are you playing on Linux ? I am having the same problem.

Installed Arma 3 again, loaded up the mod and this time the game instantly crashed with the p3d error message, I didn't even do anything this time. I'll continue trying and will update this post with new reports, maybe this'll give the model creator a hint at the solution or something. Edit 1: So it appears that the error message >Bad version 73 in p3d file 'ravage\assets\items\hose.p3d' Happens randomly, while the error message with "gutting_knife.p3d" in the text happens when I am opening my inventory near a corpse. Edit 2: These are the last few lines of the log that the "Show details" button in the Arma 3 crash report spits out: Edit 3: It seems that Linux has nothing to do with this. Edit 4: This is my expansion load order: Edit 5: This time the error happened with toolbox.p3d

One time it happened when I was merely nearing a corpse, another time it happened when i was opening my inventory while crouching near a corpse. (The corpse of the dead soldier near the truck at the beginning of a new game).

Awesome, thanks.

Is the mod supposed to work with the Linux 1.64 branch of Arma 3? The game was working just fine for about 10 minutes, but then my game crashed with a notice saying something like "bad version [...] gutting_knife.p3d". Another error message said the same thing about a p3d file that had "hose" in the name. I can't get the exact error message right now because I uninstalled Arma 3 out of frustration, currently downloading it again in hopes that someone can help me out. Thanks.
