I'd recommend giving ArmA Remote Admin a try as it does does all SteamCMD handling for you, it has a thread in this subforum aswell. The workshop integration is behind a paywall but if you're willing to try it I'd happily give you that version for free. -

The remote console and features associated with it such as account validation, proxy checks and message sending via scheduler: Yes. For everything else: No. Another update: Client has been updated to support multiple servers in one window, so everything stays clean and easy to use. Another Update ArmA Remote Admin can now also install your gameserver for you while taking care of everything from BattlEye to Visual C++ Redistributables. Hello! Some of you might remember my first attempt at this kind of gamemode back in 2015. I recently decided to completely revamp the code and create a new, more fun experience for everyone to enjoy: Rush Redux The Gamemode: Rush Known from games like Battlefield, Rush esentially is a Team Deathmatch in which the objective is to either hold or attack MCOM stations. Unlike in Battlefield this variant has only one MCOM at a time. Planted MCOMs need to be defended for 60 seconds until it explodes. If the defenders fail at defending their MCOM stations, they will fall back and hold the next MCOM stations. If attackers manage to destroy all 3, they win. If the attacking team runs out of tickets or time, defenders win. The attacker team loses a ticket each time a team memeber dies. Reviving will restore one ticket. Progression & Perks In Rush Redux players unlock new weapons and weapons by earning points. Anything from killing enemies to supporting teammates helps you to do so. Each player may choose 2 perks from a list allowing him to customize his loadout and function on the battlefield depending on what class he has chosen: Field Medic, Machine Gunner, Recon and Engineer. One perk of the 2 perks you may choose is always exclusive to one class while the other perk is available to every class. These perks range from Smoke grenades to better vests, more ammunition and sprinting. A more detailed description of each perk is available as a tooltip when selecting them. Fast Paced Unlike the usual ArmA experience, Rush offers players a fast paced - mostly - close quarters combat experience. The gamemode is supposed to be more acardish and more accessible for all kinds of players, so do not expect the realism ArmA 3 missions usually offer. Where to play Rush is currently only available on the servers listed on the website found below. I personally also enjoy first person more than third person. I will most likely switch my own server to make it first person only soon enough.

"Application path" is basically the process/.exe file to monitor. If you are using a .bat/cmd/vbs/exe file to start your server make sure you select this file in the textbox next to "Run VBScript file on crash" and disable "Restart application on crash" and "Start application if it is not running on start". If the selected process/application now crashes it will start the cmd/bat/vbs file you have linked instead of launching the application directly.

Hi, I have developed a small gamemode for up to 64 players called Rush. The gamemode works similar to the Battlefield Gamemode rush: Attackers try to arm "MCOMs" before running out of reinforcements tickets. Once a mcom has been destroyed the target will be updated. Defenders defend the MCOMs and defuse the bomb in case it got planted. They win by making the attackers run out of tickets. Each player can choose between 4 classes which all have their own weapons and gadgets available: Assault, Machine Gunner, Engineer, Recon. While playing you earn points for your class with which you unlock weapons, attachments and gadgets. As this gamemode is still in its beta I would love to test it with some people in order to improve it and gather some feedback :) This gamemode is mostly aimed towards fast combat and I guess mostly casual players. We've currently got 2 Vanilla and 1 Mod server up, simply hop onto http://www.arma-aftermath.com to get all the information you need, there will be US servers soon! :) If this thread is in the wrong section I apologize, I haven't been sleeping for the past 2 days.

Sorry about that, it was never planned to enable third person. It was a bug that occured when the server changed the map and it didn't set Mercenary as the difficulty. It has been fixed tho and the website was changed, it should now be way easier to find it on google. :)

This isn't my final decision. I will think about it, but even if I agree to release it to the public, it would still need to be cleaned up as of right now it is a mess and it would takes ages for other people to even understand what kind of crap I coded there.

Must have been a random cool kid changing profilenamespace variables, an update will roll out tmr morning to fix all issues regarding cheated weapons.

Hi there, we've just put up an US server, IP can be found on www.arma-aftermath.com. We will eventually add more vehicles to the maps, please remember this is still a BETA and all maps can have diffrent vehicles. The unlock system isnt done yet, please remember that its way harder to do a working one with less weapons than arma offers anyway because we only use weapons <= 7.62 and we have to split those up into 4 classes, thats why some of the unlocks seem to be streched without reason. Hey there! Ill be looking into fixing the auto balancer, 70% of the time he does his job correctly but there are certain situations in which it will trigger without sense for example: 5 people of the Attacker team leave, 5 people who took the slots of them are joining and loading the mission. If in this second the autoteambalancer checks for autoteambalance it will kick you off even tho other people seem to have already balanced the game but as they arent ingame yet they dont count as players. The Balancer will be adjusted and stats will be saved on the server so even if you get kicked within a round and reconnect in your old or other team you will still have all your stats. BTW: Every 4 minutes it autosaves your stats, so no worries if you get kicked atm! Hostile Takeover will host some US servers soon :) No download required for the public vanilla servers :) ________________________________________ I updated the startpost!

I aswell highly suggest lowering the render distance to something acceptable. In my case it always gave me 20+ FPS, but like others said having the correct setup is necessary.
