  1. I am proud to announce that NightIntruder and I have began making the much needed CH-46 for arma 3. Right now, we are concentrating on the USMC version but have plans for other models of the aircraft which will be announced later. There will be two versions of the CH-46, one will be a more simple version and the other a more advanced version The simple version is planned to include: - Advanced Flight Model - ramp, doors, windows animations - working sling load and rescue hoist - dedicated crew chief and loadmaster seats - flight instruments animations + backlighting - NAV lights + landing lights + formation lights - custom sound - fast engine start + fuselage vibrations - ACE3, NIMITZ, RAV All Fuel - compatible - walkable deck + numbered seats (player can take whichever seat they wants) This version is meant for the casual player who just wants to get in and fly somewhere The Advanced Version - Advanced Flight Model based on real CH46s specifications - rotational beacon lights, cargo light and cockpit flood lighting - engines / APU management - switchable VIS / IR-compliant instrument backlighting in the cockpit - emergency lighting + windows & doors removed in case of crash - briefly floatable a/c for emergency regardless not being equipped with sponsons - custom damage system: announciator panel, FireGeo LOD, visible damage on a/c - custom enhanced sound + real time engines start + engines smoke effect + engines / APU management - fuselage vibrations dependant on specific flight phase - rain effects on windscreen and windows + animated wipers - custom crew animations: CrewChief position in port door and with working on rescue hoist, Loadmaster position on ramp, pilots animations, savior on hoist etc. - random malfunctions, extremely rare, but yet possible - damage/malfunction being increasing over time (script) ie. fuel leak, drive train damage, engine malfunction, ramp blocked etc. - NAV lights switchable from STEADY to FLASH - main rotor tips lighting - ACRE / TFAR compatible - custom environmental radio sounds The advanced version is for someone who wants a little more of a realistic experience -Both the advanced and simple version will have multiple weapon configurations Please keep in mind that we are trying to get these features on the aircraft, and if we cant, well we cant. This is a heavy WIP and nothing here is guaranteed. Rest assured, this project is not dead gents!
  3. Hey everyone, while doing the EA-18G I decided I mine as well do the Prowler at the same time, so here it is. Until I can get some help together for this, progress will be slow. First off, the model was bought from turbosquid with an all extended uses license. First Release is set to include: -More then 2 textures -Loadout/Texture menu -Foldable wings -Electronic attack script -Nav Lights, formation lights -Air refueling -Firewills AWS -Complete cockpit -ALQ-99s high and low frequency jammers Team Mr.Red/flanders25 SuperFastBlast There is more to be added to that list, but I am looking for some modelers and someone good with animations as the landing gear is very complicated and I cannot do it on my own. If you want to help with animations or modeling, please message me. WE NEED YOU!! Thanks for looking, and EA18G will probably release before this
  4. Hi there, As sad as it is to say, NightIntruder has become busy with things in life and has decided to not release the CH-46E him & I had been working on. He would not like any of his work released, and I will respect that. So, I am starting the project over on my own. I have the base model, and I am looking for some skilled people in the modeling and texturing department to help me bring this bird to life. I am an MV-22 Crew Chief in real life, so I am quite busy. And I really need any support possible to make this project happen, even if that means handing the model and what I have over to bigger mod development teams who are willing to make it a reality for the Arma 3 community. I'm looking for any help. Sorry for the lack of communication recently and I hope everyone is doing well, Rob

Copyright 2016 flanders25. This item is not authorized for posting on Steam, except under the Steam account named Mr.Red Hi everyone! First off, the model was bought from turbosquid with an all extended uses license. I'd like to announce that I am currently working on an EA18G. A person and I started work on this a few months back. Currently, the model is complete as well as some textures and its just starting to be implemented in game. This does not mean it will be released soon though, as I am working on the CH-46 Project with NightIntruder and this mod is going to be a lot of work, especially for a new modder. So, enough of that and here are my goals First Release: - Firewills AWS intergrations (done) - Loadout/texture menu (done) - More then 2 textures minimum (done, 8 so far) - ALQ-99 Jammer (Most likely will be added into AWS, already discussed with Firewill) - Electronic attack script (Mostly complete) - Cockpit complete with working MFDs and gauges - Nav lights + landing lights and formation lights (done) - Nimitz compatible (done) - Custom sounds - Folding wings (done) - Air refueling (done) Team: SuperFastBlast (Scripts, animations, tester) Jones (Textures, tester) Greg (Cockpit Modeling) Firewill YanYat Cheng (Tester) Buck (Textures) Brian/Foxone (model work) Pinaz (Textures, scripts) TeTeTe (Animations, scripts, etc) thesn4k3 (cockpit textures) People that have helped: Peral There is a lot more, but these are just the basics I wanted to share with you guys. I really need help, it doesn't matter if you only know a few things, you are needed with his project. Please message me if you could help at all. Ill update pictures when its in game. I posted this early to try and get some help with this, as I doubt I can do this all on my own Consideration: If all goes well a pack is being considered to be made. It would include the F/18F, F/18E, but that is far in the future and if this goes smooth.

    EA-18G

Hey there, I'm now a crew chief in the Marine Corps, so I dont have much time anymore (reason Growler was handed over). Although I do have a laptop. But, just wait to see what happens with it.

    EA-18G

Hey all, I leave in a few days, but before I do, I just want to make sure I have given everyone who has done work for this project credit. Firewill will give full credit to everything you have done as agreed upon. Please look on the first page and make sure I didnt forget you if you did something for this project. Regards, Rob

    EA-18G

Firewill has full permission to do so, although I am not sure if he will. That's up to him. On another note, I have always been working on the legacy hornets, such as the C & D and I do think the C will possibly make a release before I leave. https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/823441571256037844/4BB15387C2D1562DDFE2E557B10BD3FA44824B7D/

That question is better suited for NightIntruder. The Phrog has been in his hands.

Since I was employed at a helicopter service at the beggining of this year, and my recent enlistment into the USMC as a helicopter crew chief, I haven't had much time to work on this project, neither has the team. We came to the joint decision that firewill had the best ability to finish what we came so close to completing and updating it over time with us involved. Thank you all for the support and we hope you enjoy the aircraft on its release.

1stBN/160th SOAR Mod ArmA III WIP

I work at a helicopter company, and we mainly remove the doors on our jet rangers for visibility on hoist jobs, or if its just a nice day we take them off. A CH-47 crew chief that I work with told me that every time they went on a mission with the 160th, the soar guys would be taking anything off there air frame that they could to reduce the weight (ammo, doors, seats, ect) while conventional units where loading as much ammo and such as possible. My guess is that the doors are removed for a mix of all these factors. If youd like more info, I can ask him and get back to you guys (He was in a conventional unit, not the 160th).

Never mind pepper spray and gas in basic! I have to go through sere school for my job! Hahaha. Now that you say that, I am not sure. I haven't tried that.

When the aircraft is not flying, correct, you can walk throughout the cabin. As far as I am aware, an engine limitation would not allow us or anyone to make the aircraft walk able while in the air.

Flight test over Utes! Pre crashing! haha. The AFM on this bird is fine tuned and difficult ! Sorry I haven't been around these forums as much as I use to, but I am happy to say I recently enlisted into the USMC as enlisted flight crew! (Aircrew)

Peral helped me fix the shadow issue. I had no LOD for the view cargo shadow. Its been awhile! haha. Anyhow, heres the cockpit so far (We need to make some rvmat adjustments I am thinking) The right MFD can display flir when the pod is attached via service menu.

Cockpit textures are just about done, but now we have another bug (I hate you arma, lol). For some reason, there is a shadow kind of thing covering most of the cockpit textures. Any advice/help would be appreciated (http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2qlygld&s=9#.WJDPuPkrKUk)

Hey everybody! I am excited to say that this project has been handed over to TeTeT, and that he will finish it.

Thats in fact one of the bugs holding a release back, as mentioned earlier.

    EA-6B Prowler

Hey there! We all get excited so I dont mind giving you an update haha. Nobody has came to me to continue the project, and I am extremely busy with real life & wrapping up the EA-18G. So this project is in fact dead until someone wants to pick it back up & work with/lead my team. Most of the animations where complete. But thats where it is at.
