  1. Mission updated to V1.2. Mission Briefing: One of our most hi-tech intelligence-gathering drone is captured by insurgency forces. The UAV probably had a malfunction. The plane is supposed to have a failsafe back-up system that automatically steers it back to base, but for some reason it went down and crashed. Now some of our most successful and useful surveillance technology is in the wrong hands. You are tasked to locate and destroy the drone wreckage before the insurgents can pull any information from it. Description: SP or Coop. This is a very atmospheric stealth mission with a tweaked detection system. It is possible to finish it without engaging the enemy, and without beeing detected. It is also possible to take out enemies without noticing the others, but since it's Arma; close-up-kills are out of the picture. If you are noticed or seen, the enemy will react thereafter and the mission will change and get a lot more difficult. The mission have some randomness, like the crashed UAV is on different locations, the enemy have random patrols, etc. etc., so each playthrough will be a bit different. The mission have NO respawn. Just to add some nerve. The nerve is important here. The AI is tweaked so they act like normal human beings, and not elite god-like soldiers that will pop you from 1 km away. Neither you or the AI have nightvision. The detection system in this mission can be developed even more, so leave me a message if someone have awesome ideas! Approximate time to finish the mission: 1 hour. (Depends on how sneaky you are) No mods required. Look at the screen shots below, play it and enjoy.   2. Mission update to V 1.1 (see changelog). This is a difficult mission that requires teamwork. The mission have no respawn, but it have ACE3 medical system and revive. Briefing: A powerful and professional military terrorist group have taken control over Chernogorsk. Most of the city have been destroyed and civilians have fled the city. The terrorist group is now using it as main base. Earlier attempts to bring them down have failed, and our officers have been captured and held hostage. The government is desperate and this is a delicate matter. You are tasked to rescue our officers held hostage inside the terrorist groups base. The terrorists main base is heavily armed. Satellite imagery reveals armed vehicles, large number of armed troops, snipers, HMGs, GMGs and mortars. They also have a huge searchlight spotting all activity in the area. It's not possible to take that out. Important: As soon you are spotted, or engage the enemy, the terrorist will prepare the executions of the hostages. Then we have 30 minutes before the first hostage is killed. After that, they will kill one hostage every 5 minutes. At least ONE hostage must survive. Choose your strategy well. Unfortunately we don't expect it's possible to save them all. Mods required: ACE3 Cup Terrains Features: A huge searchlight at the base. When detected by the searchlight, your position will be revealed and the searchlight will follow you until you can hide. Stay hidden when attacking or entering the base. High firepower. You will have Mortars, AT and UGV. But choose your strategy well. If you are easier to detect, it means you have little time to save the hostages. Dynamic difficulty.     [COOP 12] Nightfall over Chernogorsk

    I have done some major changes to the mission. Bugs are now crushed and the difficulty is more balanced. Changelog: - Rebalanced AI skills. - Major changes to the main base with the search light. - Crushed an annoying bug that spawned 10 random AIs for each connected player(!). - Removed ppEffect during daylight. - Reskinned the enemy, so they look like terrorists, not military forces. - Seperated out the Sniper Team, so they are an own group. - The UAV operator is not the team leader anymore. - Optimized the mission for better framerate.
  4. Mission updated. The detection system needed an overhaul, scripts are more optimized for better performance and the progress bar had some issues that is fixed.

  6. Since the 1.6 visual upgrade update everything in this atmospheric mission looked different. Mission is now updated and should have the same vibe as before.

  8. Im curious about this. I can't find much missions that use the Bystrica map. The map is small, but I think it can be quite interesting with the right SP/COOP scenario. But is it so unpopular that the Chernarus map should be used instead? What do you guys think?

  14. Great! I will play them. I see already that we have some ideas in common, but this is a great way to not "copy" your ideas. And I love to see what other creators have come up with!
  15. Yeah. Im quite exited myself on how this mission will turn out. I will post screen shots and more info very soon:) But to sneak around in a small base few meters from the enemy is out of the question. The players boots make way too much noise, and the AI is too crazy :ph34r: I look forward to your feedback Inlesco.
  16. I recommend using FHQ Task Tracker: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=19774 It's scripts only and easy to use. You get rid of all problems with briefings and tasks.

  19. Thanks for the feedback. As I progress i will add more descriptions about how the mission will be like and screenshots. Sneaky closeup kills is out of the picture since its Arma. But do you know if its possible to change boots on the players that makes less noise? They're awefully loud! I keep you updated.
  20. If you don't solve this you can use enableSentences false as an emergency solution. That command disables radio transmissions and make AIs and yourself silent.

  22. Hi guys. Im creating a multiplayer mission where I want the players to choose from multiple respawn positions when they die. And I want the respawn positions to have custom names. I want them to choose from the following respawn positions: - Respawn on the spot where the player died - Respawn to an other player of the same side - Respawn in a base That is easy using MenuPosition template with multiple markers with the name respawn_west1, respawn_west2 etc. And make some of the markers follow players position. But how do I give the spawn position custom names in the spawn menu? By default the spawn position is named after where they are placed For example "near Jay Cove". I also want the spawn points that follow the players to have the name of the actual player. (That is possible by synchronizing the respawn module with the player, but the respawn module don't work with spawning where the player died.) Any help is appreciated!

  25. Operation Hammerdown This is a coop mission recommended for 3-8 players. It has a lot of action and the difficulty depends on how you choose to complete the main task. The whole Stratis island is open for you. Approximate playing time is 2-4 hours. Dynamic respawn is available. I have created some missions to play with friends, but this is the first time I have published one. I like my missions to be atmospheric and somewhat realistic. Please write feedback in this thread. I can't wait to hear from you guys. Basic scenario: Coordinate a surprise attack at the Statis Air Base, steal the secret documents and get out of there. Your priority is Stratis Air Base, but you can assault other bases in the area to get tactical advantages like artillery, helicopters and tanks. Go in light. Or go in heavy. Your choice.
