  2. Sorry guys, it has been a little quiet over here, this is mainly because the weather outside is outstanding these days and me and my girlfiriend are preparing to hike the kungsleden in July. We've worked on SR17 and the sorrounding area, I think it will be finished in about a week. Then, only SR1 is left and after it, finishing process should start. I'will keep you posted.   3. THIS IS NOT FINAL!!!! Several objects, especially signs and details on the ranges are still missing!! Please excuse the stuttering at SR4 and Ormos, settings were at 6km object draw distance, so my 8gig rig got shocked a little.
  4. Hey guys, short update. We've finished the southwest area of the map now. SR18 and parts of SR1 are left to be done now. These two ranges are the largest ranges on hebontes. After we finish these two ranges, the "allaround finishing process" begins. Please be patient a little more time. Weather outside is beautyful, so progressing takes a bit longer. Greetings, Hunger
  5. Okay guys, weather outside is awesome these days (northern germany), so I'm just slowly progressing. Please be patient. This is the Map so far, you may see the unfilled area southwest of hebontes. Object Placement is progressing slowly here, cause there are a lot of rocky hills etc. 1.250.000 Objects placed right now. The former village of Erinia, located on the center of SR16. Right next to these ruins, a smaller cravel pit is dug into the ground. SR16 is dedicaded to combined arms operations. So Infantry has to clear the village FIRST and build a bridgehead before the heavy armored troops can pass that cravel pit. The cravel pit next to Erinia. There are small fords to cross the pit.   7. Thanks Flinty, we'll see how it'll be. Ormos-Trawler static object. I dont like how it looks ingame, but it does its job :) Had just a very small amount of time to create the textures etc, so it looks a little bit out of place.
  8. As I've already said guys, please dont get too hyped, I dont want to disappoint people. Its a military training area, so it has vast areas of forest and sandy, dry areas, can be a little monotonous. I will make a video maybe later this wekk, so you can see it by yourselfes. Greetings
  9. Hey guys! I know it has been pretty quiet last week. But we did a lot of work RL and at Hebontes for sure. We managed to get to SR16 already, so from now on, there is only the lower left corner of the map to be done. That means the formerly farmland area as well as SR17. After that, just a finishing needs to be done. I think an early release could be done in ca. 4 weeks (+-) Some older screenshots here: greetings, Hunger & Chrissy
  10. Scenery obect I'm working on, the "Ormos Trawler" I hope i can finish it next to hebontes, to import it into the island fishing harbors.

  13. Okay! Ormos is ready, just the satmap has to be finished here a little bit (small sandy areas, concrete parking lots etc), this is part of the final finishing process. Also, we finished the "Basic Infantry Weapons" shooting ranges 11-13 today and started filling the areas around them with flora and rocks. I can just show you some screenshots we've made, will post more maybe later.   14. Town of Ormos is slowly growing. Progressing very slowly. Think I'll finish it tomorrow (hopefully). Ormos is the biggest, still populated town on hebontes. St.Phokas, Kalogria and Akhili are the other, smaller settlements. Most of the civillian polulation is either working as fishermen or are working for the military. They maintenance most of all shooting ranges.

  16. Town of Ormos, right next to camp themis is beeing build right now, i think it'll take up to 3 more days until i'll finish it. The details take hours..
  17. I've learned it through CPTCAPS tutorials and the TB Forum here, you can find a lot of informations there. I myself am not an expert in Terrain building. If i have the time somewhere in the future, i will may do some kind of "making of" via YT. :)
  18. Sure I can! Should be no problem! And thanks, since I used to be a tank commander for several years and have a load of pictures of military training grounds, it should be VERY suited for milsim, especially for mech/armored milsim units.
  19. Sorry guys for this late update, I was extremely buisy on duty last days. We've finished Shooting Range 9 and 10, populated the north and first parts of the west with flora. Also we've finished Camp Themis and started work at the, still civillian polulated, villages Ormos and Kalogria, right next to camp themis. I have just some screenshots for you, cince there is still a lot to do (further details and finishing). Shooting Range 9 and 10 Shooting Range 9, Gate 1 East-West tranist route Coastline at SR9 and SR10 Farmland of formerly Kourouni, located at shooting range 9 West Bunker Hill at shooting range 10 Base of shooting range 10 Area around Ormos and Camp Themis Camp Themis, main gate Camp Themis, its a small external camp in the north The east of Hebontes Fortress, you can see SR6,7 and 8 in the background River in the West of Hebontes Nothing much to say here
  20. There are 2 military ports and one small civil port for fishing etc. Will show you pictures when they are entirely finished.
  21. Short update: Map is 45% done now, most areas in the east are ready, sr8 is done and now i will start with 9 and 10. Object placement just reached external camp themis in the north

  23. Short answer is: no I`m sorry to give you that negative answer, but if you want to do CAS missions, put a carrier next to the island. Maybe I'll add an airfield later, but for the first release, it will be a proving ground for armored troops and infantry. There is a heli landing site with 4 helipads at camp asteria, thats it. I'm sorry
