kozzy420 21 Posted July 11, 2010 Hello, Ive played ARMA2 for awhile now and a friend of mine just got the game and we want to play the main campaign COOP with me and him. I usualyl just play coop user made missions online and on dedeicated servers. So im wondering how we can do this coop main campaign together? How would I find him or how would he find me? One of us would just be hosting, not a dedicated server and I have no clue how this works. I dont see a IP address there or anything else. Thanks for any help. hund 0 Posted July 12, 2010 Let us assume that you will be hosting the game, and he will be joining you. You go to single player -> campaign -> "name of campaign" -> host he goes to multiplayer like normal and fils in your details in the filter, so he can find your server. PogMoThoin 10 Posted July 12, 2010 Is it over the net? If it is, its not like the peer-to-peer console shite, He'd need to open the ports in the firewall so You can connect to his game. He'd host a server called "myserver" with password "mypass", You then search for it by name in the server browser and as long as the ports are opened and pointing to his pc You will be able to connect.
