Afroman1567 10 Posted July 9, 2010 Hello guys, Well, i tried installing the new patch and im having trouble because im clueless (WoW does it automatically for me :)) I read the directions (install the exe or whatever, i dont get it because im computer impaired.) It's the IE download dialog box? save the zip file to a proper place for you, or just OPEN it which will be download in temporary file in C. extract the zip and run the installer and wait for update. at last click ok to finish it. Placebo 29 Posted July 9, 2010 (edited) The patch is what we called "zipped", you don't need to know what that means, just do the following: Click the download link of whichever patch you need (you forget to mention even which game you're trying to patch so can't help you there). A prompt will come up saying Save/open/cancel, click Save and save it somewhere on your hard drive, as you're computer illiterate the desktop is a good location that you'll find again. When the download is finished double click the newly downloaded zip file, it will open a new window in which you can see an exe file, as below: (the actual window and patch may look slightly different but that's not important) Double click the named file ending .exe it will now install the patch.
