LordZach 0 Posted April 22, 2002 if OFP runs resistance won't be any different except for the enhanced graphics etc which will lag you to hell but OFP probably does that already
Tales_From_Topographic_Oceans 0 Posted April 22, 2002 you have plenty of RAM. how does OPF run now?

advocatexxx 0 Posted April 22, 2002 Yeah, I think minimum system requirements for Resistance are 700Mhz PIII. Your aging PII should be archived.
Postduifje 0 Posted April 22, 2002 I currently have a Pentium III 500 450 MB RAM Nvidea Viper 770 and I can run OFP now quite well, but I can't add too many units in one level, or I'll lag like hell. There is said OFP: Resistance has the same requirements as OFP: Cold war crisis, but I'm sure the better graphics will push my pc just over the edge, so: Bartender, upgrade please! ralphwiggum 6 Posted April 23, 2002 minimum should be same as 1985. but what BIS is suggesting/advising is that to enjoy new graphics engine it should be 700mhz....and yes, i would recommend some upgrade
medvidek 0 Posted April 23, 2002 Recommended system requirements for Resistance: Operation Flashpoint, Windows XP/2000/98, Direct X 8.1, 256 MB RAM, 733 MHz CPU, 1 GB HDD

InRange 1 Posted April 23, 2002 Haha, well, I have: (and I'm not kidding) PII 350 mHz 226 MB RAM Voodoo 3 16 MB 6.4 GB harddrive Surprisingly enough, OFP runs pretty well with most missions. (you might understand that I enjoy the smaller missions better than the big ones)
Tex -USMC- 0 Posted April 23, 2002 I would suggest, since upgrading your CPU is probably out of the question, get more RAM (256 is nice, but 512-640 will rock your world). Also, if possible, grab an Nvidia card. I would reccomend anything from a GeForce 2 up to a GeForce 4 MX. Basically, anything you can afford will be an improvement. Heres my specs so you know where Im coming from: Pentium 4 1.3 Ghz GeForce 3 640 Mb PC800 RDRAM 27 Gb Hard Drive
