All but 2 boxes. FAIL.

I just bought the game on Steam and finally got it downloaded. My problem is, all but 2 boxes load up when I start the game. Then the screen goes black, and nothing is there except my cursor. From what I read it's my OS, Windows 7 64bit. Pro.

So, is there a simple way to get this working? And if not, can someone give me a step by step on how to fix? (I have tried Running in administrator, XP pack 2 and 3)

I've never seen those two boxes become ticked on arma 1 or arma 2, it must be some other problem. Post up some more details about your computer: what graphics card are you using, how much ram, which driver version also which game, arma 1, arma 1 gold, arma 2 or arma 2 with operation arrowhead and version. You can never be too specific.

Im sure someone out there has bested the same problem you are having, you just need to provide little more information so people can narrow down the problem and give you a faster solution.
