tandy45 10 Posted July 5, 2010 Hey all as the topic title suggests i'm new to editing a mission, i've managed to knock up a instant battle by placing x amounts of opfor against y amounts of bluefor and just letting both sides go at each other. However im wondering how would one go about creating a warfare mission?, im guessing it'd be place a warfare module and then everything happens around that or?, also how would i go about creating a raid mission on say a village? would it again be the same as i've knocked up or would it be abit more complex? thanks and sorry if these questions have already been asked. katipo66 94 Posted July 5, 2010 For warfare you're probably best downloading LKwarfare and opening it up in the editor to get an idea... you can download it here http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=9465 You might want to look at DAC also... its an awesome tool for knocking up dynamic missions... you can get that here http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=10621&comments=1 For more structured/specific missions you're best to think what actual scenario you want to take place, laying units into the editor and then searching for what ever scripts may be needed to make the mission play out how you want it... lots of searching, lots of learning. Another way is to pull other peoples mission apart in the editor and seeing how they did it... you can do that by downloading pbo view http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=1435 use it to unpack a mission (or any) pbo file and then placing the unpacked folder in your username/documents/ arma 2 other profiles / profilename / missions? and then opening that mission ibn the editor
