Arma 2 Arrowhead Crashing to desktop

I have just got me a copy of Arrowhead and to my supprise Im unable to play the game. Random crashes to desktop.No wonder BIS didnt release a demo of this game. Nobody would buy this buggy beta release.

Just went through "ARMA 2 OA 1.52 :Bugs" thread. For crying out loud, is it even legal to sell crap like that?

No wonder people download pirated games. Next time no demo, no buy.

One thing you should know about BIS is that they will keep trying to fix it.

Since many people don't have any crashing problems its obviously a system problem. ie your machine doesn't like it for some reason.

What version of game: Retail or Steam?

Whats your specs and are drivers up to date?

If you want real help then need more info.

I got 2 random crashes to desktop playing online, but later I could play without problems for hours, theres many games that crashes to desk, sometimes is the game, sometimes is your pc, drivers, etc

Hmm... I tried installing OA and ARMA 2 on an old computer from 01' and it didn't work, so I just tried it on my new computer I bought in 09' and it works great! I'm guessing it's just your CD Drive. Some CD Drives can get old and they don't work as well anymore (If you're having installation problems) If it crashes in game it may just be that your computer specs don't really work for ArmA 2 and OA.

Random crashes. No pattern. Sometimes from menu, sometimes during game.

Cant play longer than 1min.

I'm trying lowering the graphics little by little and changing settings to see if I can find out what's bugging the game, so far no luck

You didn't look hard enough, and BIS aint a bunch of chumps like code masters

that you make them out to be, they've always had a demo out for all their games,

unlike other games that should have had a demo, cough OFP DR..

Send your crash dumps to dwarden @ BIS...Lately he's been more than up-front that if anyone has crashes, to email him the .dmp file so that they can better fix the game (especially with random crashes). Search his posts to get all the info (where to find them, where to send them, what to include in the email, etc.)

Hello i have a big problem :

When i start the Arma 2 OA everything works perfect but when i try to start a new campaign or scenario the game crashes and it gives me the legendary error : It has stopped working" i dont know what is the problem i was able to play arma 2 on very high settings my rig is :
