Using G15 LCD and/or second Monitor to display ingame informations.

The main idea:

Some are using a Logitech G15 keyboard with LCD display (or the G19 for that matter) and some have a second monitor. It would definately be nice... if some game info could be displayed there. What comes in mind is GPS, selected Weapon, Compass and some other useful stuff. Maybe also vehicle related info.

The solution(s):

Samurize

LCD Studio

Samurize allows setting up various info to be shown on a secondary monitor, LCD Studio allows displaying info on the G15 LCD display.

The problem:

The data transfer would have be done by the copyToClipboard scripting command, wrapped into an addon that collects and sends data to the clipboard.

Sadly i didn't found a way to read out the clipboard in both programs.

But both allow self-written plugins. As far as i understand, Samurize can use javascript and visual basic, LCD Studio can use C#, C++ and also visualbasic.

Maybe it is even possible to have a single plugin which works for both.

And here my problem starts. I can't do any of those programming language, else you wouldn't read this here into "Mods & addons: Discussion" but in "Mods & addons: complete".

So this is mainly a request for help regarding the plugins aspect for both above mentoined programs. I really don't need much more than a way to read the clipboard. After that, i can do it alone (although surely further help is always appreciated).

Who can help me by writing such a script/plugin for Samurize and/or LCD Studio?

If you can't, maybe you have ideas what you would see either on the second monitor or on the LCD?

The problem is not getting that desired data out of ArmA 2, the problem is getting them into LCD Studio/Samurize. So JayArmA2Lib is probably just adding one more step to it where it isn't necessary.
