Eating and sleeping script?

Hello I am making a mission currently where I want the players to have to return back to base and 'sleep' and 'eat'. I would want the players to always have a scroll option to view how long until they need to sleep and eat. I would like the players to have to return to the barracks, and then a scroll option would come up saying something like 'sleep'. You lay down for 60-120 seconds and you have rested.

Let’s say if you go to the refrigerator and select grab a bite to eat, and it fills your hunger level.

If somebody could make something like this that would be great, I would like to have soldiers return to the base and take care of themselves. I would imagine other mission makers would use this too.

Start working on it and if you run into problems, post your code and we can help.

Frankly, I'll be a little surprised if anyone puts much into this idea. It's making the game more like a role-playing game than a battlefield sim. Not that people don't do some wild things with this wonderfully mod-able software. I just think people don't usually play Arma2 to go to a fridge and get food. That's not the part of war that people are eager to sim.

with a little bit of creative thinking people its not all a bad idea, covert ops in the middle of the wilderness your player gets hungry (script working) you go hunt a bore cook it on a fire and wala player is fine again!

Would be great part of a hunting mission!

Have you thought it through? What should happen if a plr doesnt eat or sleep? What if he just eats but never sleeps? What if he gets hungry in the middle of battle?

Imo if you as a mission designer force something on a player you also should give him something important in return. What does your gameplay mod provide to the player that he doesn't already have?
