-Luc- 10 Posted June 13, 2010 Hi, Yesterday I uninstalled ARMA 2 of my computer. When I tried to reinstall it (From original disc) this message appeared: Erreur de copie de fichier (CRC incorrect). C:\Program files\Bohemia Interactive\ARMA 2\AddOns\ ... .pbo I tried several times with the same result. What's going on!? Recently I add RAM to my computer (Now I have 8G). What could I do? Thanks! -Luc-
W0lle 1052 Posted June 13, 2010 You could try to remove the recently added memory temporary and see if the problem goes away then. If yes then there is probably a problem with the memory. If not then you can put it back in and the source is maybe the disc which has some deep scratches. Alternatively you could try to copy the content of your DVD to your harddisk and install from there. -Luc- 10 Posted June 13, 2010 Thank you... That's strange because the game was working perfectly with the added memory. I just cant reinstall it. I'm gona try to install and play with the DEMO I downloaded today. Thank's again. -Luc-
EDcase 87 Posted June 16, 2010 If you have the full version do not install the Demo. That will just make a mess. Check for any ARMA entires in "user" folder. (try a search for "arma" on all drives) and delete everything you find. Then try a re-install. If still doesn't work copy the contents of the DVD to HD and install from there. Infam0us 10 Posted June 16, 2010 Sounds like your disc is scratched, see if you can figure out which PBO or PBO's give the error message and then see if you can copy your disc over to your HDD one by one to install from there.
-Luc- 10 Posted June 17, 2010 Thank you, I think I have to ''polish'' my disc. Blockbuster do that... Again, thanks! -Luc-
-Luc- 10 Posted June 19, 2010 Hi, The problem was the RAM... I removed 4G ram to install the game and after, I put it back. The game work very well (Config at max) with 8G RAM but, you cant install it! So, maybe the installer is the problem... Take care! -Luc-
