andersson 285 Posted May 19, 2010 I've tried the anaglyph too and its great to test and get an idea of what it could be like but there is no way I would invest in monitor and proper glasses for ARMA until BIS fix problems with shadows, smoke, crosshairs etc.3D is coming to the masses soon. Would love to see arma2 fully 3d compatible.
Electricleash 133 Posted May 19, 2010 Was out at Annecy Animation Festival last year, and the Autodesk stall in the tech area, had the 3D TV's and monitors to show off 3dstudio MAX, they didn't need glasses but there's a definite field of view you need to be within. Pretty crazy watching these pros doing the modelling in 3D!

Electricleash 133 Posted May 19, 2010 Well, I realize you only have my word for it, but I did see it in Demonstration myself. They also had a demo trailer of dolphins/objects coming out of the screen. Quick google finds footage from this years CES 2010: Difficult to tell but you get the idea. It was pretty sweet... a little nauseous though! Article
