HI BIS! Can you please give us an advanced singleplayer mission wizard

Recommended Posts

Edit: never mind, how about easy spawning options added in triggers then?... with pretty drop down boxes and canned scripts for the most basic requests, like once spawned enter nearest building!

Yep still dreaming, 1:30am... missus getting mad :p

I would actually LOVE to see an option to replace the init box with ""tick/check" boxes, drop down menus etc. Mission making currently is (pardon my language) a bitch. I do the same alt-tab rodeo every night as well, and currently do it every 5-10 minutes for the "project" i'm working on and hoping to release soon. I will say that if something like this is done it should be done for the main editor, but there should be an option to do so not forced, for some people actually like the init line.

i think that is a great idea, plus i would also like to see more basic options in the triggers, and more modules would be better to, but i think there coming with Operation Arrowhead

Well maybe its never going to happen... from the BIS wiki

What changes are being made to the ARMA 2 map editor?

We do not want to sound too complacent, but we feel the map editor is already very polished and nearly perfect for its purpose (we managed to include some nice new improvements in some of the A2 patches already). There is also the experimental and fully moddable 3D editor so we did not feel it necessary to commit extra work to this area in A2OA. The editor is very easy to learn, you can make complex scenarios in it in just a few minutes, and it is an extremely addictive part of the game. Found here

Thats a shame because i thought that some extra options on some off the modules like wf/so/acm would have been worthy, hopefully in the future some talented person will provide us with such a wizard or launcher, or probably im just living in lala land!

best just roll up the sleeves and go through every .sqf line by line to get what i want
