Darkhorse 1-6 16 Posted April 1, 2010 (edited) I've created a firebase template for ArmA 2. It started as me trying to create one as close to the real ones as possible, but then I realized that people would start pointing out all the things I missed so I decided I'd use the layout from the pictures of Artillery Emplacements I found & make a fictional CDF firebase around them. Each gun pit is connected to the others & to the "encampment" by trenches. Long, hard to place right, trenches. There are DShKM positions in the trenches for defense purposes. At the present time the only way into the compound is either by hopping over a trench wall or landing on the helipad. The placement on Chernarus is just a nice clear spot that I could find, although I wish I had more Vietnam like terrain to work with. There is an empty "enclosure" between part of the trench and the HESCO walled compound. It's reserved for future construction/better escape route, although it would currently be a good area for livestock.
